In part two of the best NDE experiences, we bring together four more near-death experience accounts from the show’s archives. Each one is different. Each one challenges what we think we know about death, choice, and what comes next.
Dennis Bullock: The Man Who Froze Time
Dennis and his girlfriend accidentally consumed far too much marijuana cake in the early hours of the morning. As his heart slowed and his body began to shut down, he called 911 and was rushed to the hospital. In his room alone, his heart stopped, and he popped out of his body.
What followed was unlike anything else in the NDE literature. Standing beside his hospital bed, Dennis discovered he could stop time. He froze a drop of water falling from a tap mid-air. He multiplied himself into five simultaneous versions of himself to examine the droplet from every angle. When he closed his hand, they all returned to one. He burst out laughing, and the laugh echoed into what felt like eternity.
A calm voice then told him that if he stayed out much longer, he might have to stay permanently. He pointed himself back toward his body, willed himself in, and his heart resumed with a double beat.
What he brought back was a download of information on dozens of subjects, all of it opposite to what he had believed before. There is no right or wrong on the other side, only perspective. Hell is not created by God but by the fears we carry into death. Heaven, in reality, is everywhere after death. God is only love.
Betty Guadagno: The Grocery Store of Lives
Betty’s NDE came during an overdose in 2019, the culmination of an addiction that had defined her life for decades. Her Kundalini energy shot upward through all her chakras simultaneously, her spirit left her body, and she found herself in a sea of thousands of soul light bodies gathered around a commander, all being prepared for their missions to Earth.
She was shown her pre-birth plan in the form of a grocery store. A man in a plaid blazer and fedora handed her a large empty cart and told her to pick her life. The aisles were lined with enormous cereal boxes, each one containing a life experience. Betty grabbed everything: addiction, trauma, prostitution, dereliction, abusive relationships. She even saw the moment she and the man who would abuse her as a child chose each other, understanding that in a previous life she had been his abuser.
She refused to return. She argued with the beings in charge. They offered her a new body in a new life. She calculated that a life already halfway complete was better than starting from scratch, and agreed to go back into her own body. She found herself on her bathroom floor.
Vincent Tolman: The Guide Named Drake and the Living Grass
Vincent died in a restaurant bathroom in 2003 after taking a toxic bodybuilding supplement. A rookie medic, acting on an unexplained impulse, opened his body bag in the back of the ambulance and resuscitated him on the third attempt with a defibrillator.
During the time he was gone, Vincent met his spirit guide, a man named Drake dressed in white with a long white beard, who offered to take him wherever he wanted. Vincent chose home. Drake walked him through principles he had not understood in life, including a stunning insight about prejudice: that judging prejudiced people is itself a form of prejudice, joining the very thing you oppose.
When Vincent arrived at heaven, the grass had millions of shades of green and emitted light from within. Water approached him and asked if he wanted it on him, then rose over his entire body, healing damage in his soul as it went. He saw a vast white marble building, alive, where beings from across all time and all eras were gathered to learn. Before he could enter, Drake embraced him, and in that moment his brother on Earth said a prayer and commanded him to return. He was instantly pulled back.
Jeffrey Olsen: The Goodbye That Changed Everything
Jeffrey was driving his family on an interstate when he may have nodded off for a second. The car rolled at 75 miles per hour. His wife Tamra and their 14-month-old son Griffin were killed instantly. His seven-year-old Spencer survived. Jeffrey himself survived with both legs crushed, his back broken in two places, and 18 surgeries ahead of him.
At the scene, as he lost consciousness, tangible light surrounded him and lifted him above the accident. Tamra appeared in a bubble of light, radiant and clearly alive, and told him emphatically that he had to go back. Spencer needed a father. They made a deal. They embraced. He said goodbye, and it was the most profound goodbye he would ever say.
He found himself wandering a busy emergency room with 360-degree awareness, knowing each soul he encountered intimately. A nurse rushed past him, and he felt her entire childhood, her abuse, her healing, all of it in an instant. Until he came upon a body on a gurney that he felt nothing from, and realised it was his own.
At the end of his six months in hospital, nearly healed and off the heavy medication, the light came again. He found himself running on two whole legs in the most beautiful place he had ever experienced. He walked down a corridor and found Griffin in a crib, sleeping. He picked him up and held him, felt his weight and his breath. And as the guilt of the accident rose in him, a presence came from behind and wrapped its arms around both of them. The message that came was: there is nothing to forgive. Everything is in divine order. You are as beloved, as precious, as perfect as the child you hold.

I called 911, and this was kind of embarrassing. They said, "Well, how can we help you? And they were very polite, and I had to say, "Well, we seem to have ate a cake with marijuana, and we think we ate maybe ate too much, and we feel like we're dying. Could you come, please, help us? I popped out my body, and and the first thing I said then was, "I'm out. When I heard the drop of water, I said, "A drop of water! Wow! And I just put my hand across the air. The drop of water frozen midair. I had stopped, and to a soul, that was not such an amazing thing.

My addiction. I always chose my addiction before every other thing in my life. I ended up overdosing in 2019. I saw myself in this sea of souls, like just 1000s of light bodies, all kind of like gathered in culmination. And there was a commander in the center of us, and this commander was like hyping us up for a mission to come to Earth, and everybody was like so excited and so jazzed and like I can't wait to get there.

I may have just nodded off for a second, and I lost control of the car. My seven-year-old in the back seat crying hysterically. My inclination was I've got to get to my son, but that's when I realized that I could not move. I knew that both my youngest son, Griffin, and that Tamra, my wife, were they were they were gone. They were killed instantly in the accident. But then I felt light come, and as I was coming to terms of being in this light, suddenly Tamra, my wife, who I knew, I knew she was deceased. Suddenly, she's there in this bubble of light, if you will, with me, and she's gorgeous. But she's emphatic that I can't stay,

and so I ended up dying in that bathroom. And they they pronounced the body dead on arrival. I turned around to see this this gentleman, and I saw him just standing there looking at me. But without him using his mouth, he he communicated to me, "I'm here to be your guide. I'm here to take you wherever you want to go. And as he asked me that, I could feel this just huge, tremendous love coming from him. And I asked him, "Well, where's this love coming from? And he said that that love, that power, was coming from my home, that he could take me there if I wanted to. And without even a thought, I said yes. That's where I want to go.

I cut half of the cake, and she ate one half, and I ate the other half. Okay, and then 20 minutes went by again, and we didn't feel anything. And I said, "That's strange. I said, "It must be a bad batch or something. I don't feel anything. Then another 10 minutes went by, and we started to feel something. But it wasn't like we were getting high. It was more like our bodies were shutting down. It's like I-I don't know if it's because it was going directly into our blood instead of smoking it, but it was shutting down. I would be like talking with her, and then I would forget to breathe, and then it was becoming like hard for me to like move around. I couldn't hardly move. It was hard, and she said to me, "You better call 911 because while you still can, while we still can. And I said, "Ah, yeah, you're right. I think so. So I called 911 and this was kind of embarrassing. They said, "Well, how can we help you? And they were very polite, and I had to say, "Well, we seem to ate a cake with marijuana, and we I think we ate maybe ate too much, and we feel like we're dying. Could you come, please, help us save us? You know. So they said, "No problem. We'll send one. We'll send on our way. We'll send somebody on their on their way. But the thing is, when you call 911 if it's about any kind of narcotic, they call the police also. So the police and the ambulance was coming to the apartment. Now this was around maybe 4o'clock in the morning. Okay, so the the police arrive because they wanted to charge us with something, but there was nothing to charge. We had already eaten all the cake, so there was nothing. So so they left, and they took us in the ambulance. Now we were on the third floor, and. Like was like a stairwell, so they had to lift us down, and we were in separate stretchers, and we were on the third floor, and our neighbors had windows right in front of the stairwell, so they were looking out the window like, oh, what happened to them, you know? And as we were being carried, there was lights flashing. It was. It looked like I could. I say it all the time. It looked like something like Mick Jagger, David Bowie overdosed, and and it's just like it was just a crazy scene, crazy scene. And neighbors looking out the window, 3o'clock in the morning, you see these this these couple being taken out in different stretchers, and so they rushed us to the hospital, and by the time they had got to the to the apartment, I was very glad. I was like this. I was totally stiff. My heart was trying to beat, and I was so happy that they had got here because I know I didn't have much time. I couldn't live much longer. So they got there and they took us to the hospital. And when we arrived to the hospital, another strange thing happened. As we were passing the reception, I saw my dead mother again. This time, she was looking through the reception papers for me, and she had on this outfit that she used to wear when she was with a group of women. It was like a club of women, and they would go play bingo together. They would go on trips together, and she had this outfit on. I recognized it right away, and as we were passing, I said, "Oh, there's Mom, and I could see her just as clear as I could see you, right now. And later on, of course, I discovered, I put two and two together that I was so close to death at that time when we when they passed me in the reception. That's the reason why I could see her very clearly. So they put me in one room, and they put my girlfriend in another room. I was in a room by myself, and they gave me this black drink to drink. At first, I thought it was tar, but later I found out it was charcoal, and it tastes horrible. Oh my God! Oh, I mean, absolutely horrible. But I drank it down right away. I was on my bed.
Dennis Bullock 7:29
I drank it right down right away, and I was thinking to myself, "Oh, you're gonna live. You're gonna be all right. You're gonna be all right. You're gonna live. Finally, they got to me. They got to me. You're gonna live. You're gonna make it. You're gonna make it. So as I laid down and relaxed on the bed, and they had left my room, so I was just in my room by myself. As I was relaxing, all of a sudden, I heard my heart like somebody had put my heart right in front of my ear, and my heart started to beat like this, boop boom, boop boom, boop boom, boop boom, boom. And when it went boom, that's when I popped out my body, as if I was like I'm on this couch, and I just pop up and I jump up. I popped out my body, and and the first thing I said then was I'm out, and I and I I looked at I started to look at my hand. I couldn't believe that I was out, and I started to look at my hand, and my hand looked like, if you could, if you ever watch television too late, there's usually like this emergency broadcasting system that comes on. I don't know if you're familiar with it in Norway, but there's in America. There's this like the the screen goes to static when they don't have any more things to broadcast on the television. It just goes to the static, and in the static is like colors. And my hand was like a light gray with a light blue tint around it, and I was looking at my hand, and I was standing on the side of my bed, and my body was in the bed. I could see my leg, and I was like, "Wow, I I I couldn't believe I was out. Then I heard there was a sink across from my bed, and a drop of water just going boop, boop, and for some odd reason, when I was out of my body, my curiosity was like at 1000 and to a soul, a drop of water was amazing, absolutely amazing, and when I heard the drop of water, I said, "A drop of water! Wow! And the minute I thought about the drop of water, my vision automatically went very close to the water and back, automatically. And then, as if, I mean, if I give you a if I give you a bicycle, 20 years from now, I'm sure you're still going to be able to ride it. You know, and it was like I was I was remembering something like I could stop time, and I just put my hand across the air, and the drop of water froze in midair. I had stopped time, and to a soul, that was not such an amazing thing. It was just like okay, and then I said to myself, I said, "I'd like to see that drop of water from every angle. And then I I just opened my hand like that, and five of me appeared at the sink. One was on the right, one was on the left, one was underneath the water, one was watching, and I was watching all of them. And I I was amazed. I I couldn't believe what I was seeing. And then I when I would close my hand, they would all suck back to one to me. And I and I open my hand, and they would all peer at the sink. And I close it. They would all go back. And I kept doing that, and then and then one time I said, "What if I add a little shake? I wonder what they shake. And I opened my hand with a little shake like that, and they all appeared with a little shake. And then I burst out laughing. I I couldn't. It was turning into Bugs Bunny, period. I burst out laughing, and when I burst out laughing, it was like I was laughing in the Grand Canyon. It just went into eternity. Now, after the laugh, after the laugh, I felt that there was somebody watching me, and then I heard a voice, and the voice said very calmly, very easily, almost like a parent would say to a child, "You know, if you run around the corner too fast, you might fall. Be careful.
Dennis Bullock 12:20
Well, this voice said to me, "If you stay out much longer, you may have to stay. And it wasn't a demand. It wasn't a command. It was just giving me a choice. If you don't go back now, you might have to stay. And I didn't question it. I knew it wasn't my thought because I said, "Oh yeah, that's right. Yeah, my heart can't stay stopped forever. You know. So I pointed myself in the direction of my body. And here's another thing: I never wanted to look at my face while I was dead, because I was afraid that I was going to have this, this, this horrible look on my face that I might be it might scare myself. So I I only looked at my leg, and I knew I was standing up, and my leg was laying down in the body, and in the bed. So I knew that I was out. So I pointed myself in the direction of my body, and I just willed my soul. I said, "I'm going to go into that body. And I went into the body, and then my heart did a double beat, boom, and started to beat, and everything was okay. But oh yeah, I forgot to say, while I was out of my body, there was something else happening all to all at the same time. Now, if you-I don't know if you heard of Alka-Seltzer-but if you put an Alka-Seltzer in a glass of water, it starts to dissolve, right? Well, while I was out of my body, information was expanding like crazy. Information kept building and building and expanding and expanding, and this information I was able to bring back. And it was a lot of information that was totally opposite of what I believed before, and totally surprising. I mean, about so many different subjects. You know, it was just amazing. For example, it was saying, it told me that there's no right or wrong on the other side, just perspective. It told me also about people who experience hell when they die. It's because they created it. God is only love. God doesn't create hell. And because also the other thing is we all are gods and we are part of God and. I mean, we all are gods with a big G. We can create a whole island, a whole universe, a whole galaxy with just half a thought. We can also have multiple lifetimes at the same time. And the people who experience this hell, they experience it because they are afraid that it exists, and they actually create it while they're here on the earth. And in the Christian religion, anyway, if you go to hell, you're supposed to be there forever, right? You're not supposed to never get out, right? But hundreds of people are coming back with stories about hell. They did die. They went to hell, but they're out. And the reason why they're out is because once their soul realizes that it's them that's creating this hell, not God, they leave. And the same thing I got with the downloads about heaven. People also create heaven because of their thoughts on earth, but heaven, in reality, is anywhere after death is heaven. It's all God. It's all God. So sometimes they go to this place that they've created called heaven that they think is heaven, but it's their creation. You might see Jesus or Mary, and nobody else is there because while they were here, they thought nobody else would be good enough to get into heaven. So it's a very lonely place, and nothing's going on, and it's because they created that. It's not God. God is only love. This is what I got. I got about the Bible too. Not all the Bible was true. It was manipulated by the governments and and also the religious people at the time also got information about Christ. There's a Christ consciousness that exists just under unconditional love. Also, that there were many Christs. That's another thing I got. Not just only one. There was many that came with that consciousness of of knowing, and also that on the earth we misunderstood what Christ was trying to say. There's not there's not one way to only get to God. There's many ways to get to God. Okay, that's the first thing.
Dennis Bullock 17:14
Second thing, Christ was saying, "I do these works, but greater will you do. He was trying to say that He is no better than you. You on the other side. There's is another thing I got downloads. There's no hierarchy. There's no all the great angel, and then there's you. God sees you at the same level. Stuff like that. Jesus came with a with with the consciousness of the other side, and he brought it to to this Earth reality. Oh yeah, the Earth-that's the other thing. The Earth is a game, by the way. It's a soul that's alive. That's one of my downloads, and that it agreed. It was other souls that created this game, and it agreed to play this game for a couple billion years, but now the game is up. It stopped around 2012, and now the Earth is rising to fifth dimension. We're on third dimension right now, going through fourth dimension to fifth dimension, and the Earth is rising. Doesn't want to play the 3d game anymore, and the whole vibration of the Earth has changed. That's why we have so much division in the world right now. Because if you put a positive battery and a negative battery together, what do they do? They they separate. Okay. If you you can check it in science too, the the Schumann resonance, if you ever heard of the Schumann resonance, which is the electrical frequency or pulse of the Earth, is normally at 7.83 and that frequency is the exact frequency of the human brain. Now, if you if you check on Google, you're going to see that this frequency is rising up to 300 and over. They can't even measure it anymore. So this is to show you that the Earth is rising in vibration. I got so many downloads about so many different topics.
Vincent Tolman 19:22
Well, my my story it starts back in 2003 I was an amateur bodybuilder, and I was taking a new, a fairly new supplement. And the supplement that I was taking with my best friend happened to be toxic for our bodies, and we we both took it, and instantly we felt ill, so we went to a little restaurant down the street from his house, and we made it into the restaurant. My buddy made it over to a booth where he began to vomit, and he was found right away. They they called emergency services and got him taken away to a hospital. That meanwhile, I was in the bathroom behind a locked door, and so I ended up becoming aspirating or or or dying in that bathroom. And about a little bit less than an hour after they took my buddy away, my body was found in that same bath in that same restaurant in the bathroom. They did call emergency services for the second time that day, and they they pronounced the body DOA or or dead on arrival. They processed the scene. They bagged the body. They put the body in the back of an ambulance, and and and left the scene. And as they left the scene, there was a rookie medic in the back of that ambulance that really felt bad about this situation, and he felt like he wanted to do more. So he opened that body bag, and you know, following a prompting that he felt, he opened that body bag, felt around for a pulse. He didn't feel one, but what he did feel was was some type of shock or muscle movement in the leg, and for him that was enough of a sign to try to attempt a resuscitation. So he did. He he fed oxygen into the lungs. He also hooked the body up to a defib, which is a machine that shocks the heart. On the third round of shocks, he was able to get the heart started, and and that's where kind of my story begins, is with the coming back of my body. From my perspective, I was watching everything from above. It was it felt just so different than this life. I felt instantly from the second that I had my body had died. I felt I had been plunged into electricity, into a flowing current, a vital current, a vital power. And as they resuscitated the body, I realized shortly thereafter that what I had been watching was my own body and my own death. And that's when I had a a little mini life review where I actually saw many of the things that I ever did in my life that were not so good. Then shortly after that, I got to see a lot of the things that I did in my life that were good, and I started to feel this warming feeling come over me from behind, from about middle of my back. It started to warm over my whole body, and I turned around. I turned around to see this this gentleman, all dressed in white. He had a very long white beard, and I saw him just standing there, looking at me, gazing at me, and just it felt like he was pouring love all over me. My first thought was, "This must be God, and as soon as I had that thought, there was a response. But without him using his mouth, he he communicated to me, "No, son, I'm not God. And my follow-up, you know, this confuses some people, but my follow-up was, you know, I was raised Christian, so I figured, well, if you're not God, is there some possible way that you must be Jesus? And he said, "No, I'm not Jesus. He said, "My name is Drake. I'm here to be your guide. I'm here to take you wherever you want to go. And he motioned back to my body and asked me if I wanted to go back to my body, that he could take me there. He could help me get back into my body, or I could go anywhere in the universe. And as he asked me that, I could feel this just palpable, huge, tremendous love coming from him, and I asked him, "Well, where's this love coming from? I can tell it's coming through you, but not necessarily from you.
Vincent Tolman 23:51
I can tell it's coming through you. Where's that love coming from? And he said that that love, that power, was coming from my home. That's the place that I had originally come from, that he could take me there if I wanted to, and without even a thought, I said, "Yes, that's where I want to go. I want to go with you. I want to go home. So we began this this journey, which was truly life changing. I mean, if dying isn't life changing enough, this was very life-changing. This journey, I got to go through many principles of this life, and understand one of the primary purposes for us to be here is for us to experience the classroom of life, and not the courtroom. Despite what the religions had taught us, this life has always been a classroom. That we didn't volunteer to come here to be thrown away. We volunteered to come here to grow and to learn how to make decisions and learn how to build relationships and to learn how to be authentic and how to love each other. And it's those. Type of things that that we get to take with us when we cross, when we go back home. But but Drake he he walked me through a few principles. You know, one of which really stuck out to me was prejudice. He he helped me understand that for me to get into this this home, I had to release all prejudice, and I felt I had. I felt you know I have two adopted sisters from Korea. I thought for sure I didn't have any prejudice whatsoever. In fact, I felt I was anti-prejudice, and and he brought that up. He said, you know, I'm grateful that you're you don't have prejudice, but how do you feel about prejudiced people? And I went off. I I said, well, prejudiced people-they are so close-minded. They are so ignorant. They have no connection to reality of what really matters in life. And here I was becoming prejudiced to prejudiced people, and he helped me understand that I was actually joining the prejudice itself in making those judgments on others, even though yes, they their their beliefs are not correct, but for me to judge them over it is to join them, and that was a major enlightening moment for me. It helped me realize something that I thought I knew my whole life. I didn't actually know, and he he moved me on towards this heavenly space. And we were moving not just from like point A to point B. We were moving through dimensions. We were moving through frequencies, and as we moved through those different frequencies, I didn't have to fully accept what he was teaching me. I just had to be willing to believe it was possible. And we continued this journey. We continued closer and closer to this this place, this this precious place that I call heaven, which he called our home, and as we got closer and closer, I actually I got to touch down in this beautiful place. As my feet, and yes, I had feet because even even though you don't have a body, you still have your energetic body. I still had hands, I had arms, I had legs. I had feet. I had my my energetic body. My feet touched down on this grass, and it felt like I had been missing that grass my whole life, and and that that grass had been missing me for my whole life. Just just that connection, that initial connection to truly put it into words, it's near impossible because our English, you know, the American English words that I use that I know, they just can't even fully describe even a portion of what that grass is like. But there's millions of shades of green. Light was coming from the grass itself, like you know, light emitted from the grass. In fact, as I looked around, light was coming from everything there. Light was not an outside source reflecting on things; it was an inward source, and it was radiating off of everything, and that grass. As I, I tried to grasp what it was.
Vincent Tolman 28:28
I could feel pristine, distinct consciousness inside each and every blade, and I could feel the the beautiful love that was coming from each one of those blades towards me, and how unconditional it was that there was no limit to that love that it had for me and for all of creation. And I was kind of geeking out about the grass when when Drake said, "If you think the grass is great, you should see the flowers. And then instantly, my consciousness was right in front of a flower, almost as if my consciousness had become a bee, and I was placed right onto the petals of a flower. And to feel the flowing energy and love that comes out of the flowers. There, I finally understood what flower means, and flower means flower. To be to be that that flows love, energy, and beauty through you. And I got to to really grasp the the even greater love that I could feel coming from the flowers, or the flowers. Then I was shown the trees. Then water approached me. There was a little stream of water there, and the water approached me, and it it came to my feet and asked. I could feel it asked. Do you want us on you? And I said yes, I do. And the water started to come up on me. It started at my feet, and it covered me. It it it rose and rose and rose until it covered my whole body and covered my arms and my hands. And what was really neat, though, is I didn't get wet, like the water wasn't wet. It was healing. It was purifying. It was cleansing, and you know I was raised in a fairly rough upbringing, and I had a lot of damage in my soul, a lot of damage on my my psychology, and that water was healing that damage as it touched my body, my energetic body. By the time it was done, I felt like I emerged from that water a completely different person, completely a different energetic being, a different magnification of of the love that I was feeling in this space, this tremendous space. Then I saw this this building off to the distance, and it it looked like some type of formal building. It was beautiful white marble. As we got closer and closer to it, I could feel that it was made out of one slab of marble, the entire building, and that the building was alive. That these rooms that people were going in and out, and there was a lot of people there. They were passionately learning about something about, I think, different aspects of life and physics and and math and and and all the different things that we want to learn about in this life. I was watching that all happen, and and people would have to match the passion of a room before they could enter that room, and it it was such an an amazing experience to see so many different times and eras represented by the people that were there. It to me it felt as if there was people from our ancient past there, but there was also people from our our distant future that were there already, and so that's when I also started to understand that time was relative and time didn't actually exist anywhere outside of the the Earth space, but it was existent specifically for the Earth experience, for Earth school, so that we could feel like there's a beginning and an end. But as this is all going on, I'm getting very excited. I I wanted to go in the school. I wanted to go in there, and I wanted to see what this school was all about. And as I did that, Drake came and approached me, and he said, "Vinny, he said this is going to be very hard, but it's going to be worth it. And when he said that, I I instantly I instantly felt this tremendous love come over me. I felt Drake come right up to me and hug me, and as he hugged me, I could feel the the pristine love that he had for me, a love that that I could never earn.
Vincent Tolman 33:12
And as that love started to reciprocate and resonate off of me, I felt this almost like a pulsar, or a huge explosion of energy between the two of us, as he hugged me. And as that was all going on, I then started to hear my brother, my brother from Earth, from Earth life. He was saying a special prayer over my body, and I was hearing it live in my ears. I heard him say all sorts of things in this prayer, but one of the things that he he said was that he blessed me to come back to my body. Pretty much, he almost commanded it. He wanted me back to my body, and he he blessed that my body would be made whole. And when he said "Amen, I felt you know when he completed that prayer, I felt an instant tug, an instant pull on me, where I was, and I felt yanked and pulled back into my body. Now, in the real time of it, what happened was my brother had said this prayer around 10 p.m. but I woke up at 111 in the morning, and that's after three days of being in a coma, mostly brain dead during those three days, with very little brain activity whatsoever. On full life support for the three days that I was there, I just woke up, and as soon as I woke up, I I felt extremely claustrophobic. I wanted to pull everything off of me. I didn't want anything touching me.
Betty Guadagno 34:58
You know, like relationship. Husbands, divorces, marriages-like just kept going down this this merry-go-round. And in the end, my addiction-I always chose my addiction before every other thing in my life. And and yeah, you know, I ended up overdosing in 2019 Just you know, like the culmination of my experience with my own addiction, and I had this very profound spiritual awakening in my overdose. I had a kundalini awakening. That's like the language that I have for it today. I didn't know what the language was. I didn't know what spirituality was. I didn't know what a spiritual awakening was. You know, like my life was very far removed from anything in that realm, and so I have language for it today. So I had Kundalini roughly translates into life force. So I had a life force energy awakening where every single one of my chakras, my spiritual body, opened up and activated simultaneously, all at the exact same moment, so I had this rush of energy going from my root chakra up into my crown, and it was running up and down my body, and it was like very physically jarring. I was convulsing. I was actually like peeing all over myself, which is a really funny sentence to say about my awakening. And as my third eye and my crown opened, it felt like my spirit shot out of my body and went into the space of eternity, and it was like a non-physical realm enveloped in unconditional love and blinding white light. But I didn't make it quite there at first. At first, what I was feeling, I the language that I have for it today, I think I was experiencing something like a life review. I started to experience every emotion that we have here and in eternity and everywhere, and it was all kind of getting downloaded into me all at once. And some of the things that really vividly stick out for me is I was experiencing the pain that I had caused other people and the way that they felt, and then I also experienced the very vivid memory is I experienced my parents' suicide. Not only from the perspective of a grieving daughter, but also from their perspective, I felt their pain and agony and anguish, and all of the feelings that they had leading up to making this decision. And it was all encompassing. I mean, it was the deepest, darkest, like mud that you could ever imagine. It felt like every cell in my body was just blanketed in cement. Like I was so weighed down in this feeling, and I started to hear these masculine voices come into my mind, and they were saying, "You are worthy of all the love in the universe. You are worthy of all the love in the universe. And I started to follow those voices into the space of eternity. And it was it was some different men that were actual people in my life. One of which was my father. Another was a boyfriend who had recently passed away. His voice also guided me into that space, and I kind of found myself like decked on. It felt like a spaceship. That's really what it felt like. It felt like I had landed on this deck, and I was being downloaded with everything. I mean, like the whole fabric of creation. And so the one memory that's very vivid when I landed, kind of like on this deck space was, I saw myself in this sea of souls, like just 1000s of light bodies, all kind of like gathered in culmination. And there was a commander in the center of us, and this commander was like hyping us up for a mission to come to Earth, and everybody was like so excited and so jazzed, and like I can't wait to get there. And and then I see in my mind's eye like another scene start to play out, and I find myself in front of a table of beings, and the beings didn't explain to me who they were, but they definitely felt like people in charge and people that I knew, and so they're thumbing through this big, huge book, and they're going like, "Okay, you're not done yet. You're not done yet. So you know, like it's good to see you, but we're sending you back.
Betty Guadagno 39:10
And I'm kind of like looking around me, and I'm like, "You guys aren't talking to me, right? Because like, wherever I am, I'm staying. It felt like this great sense of reunion, like I was finally whole and complete, and I had I had never felt that way before. And they said, "No, no, you still have so much to do. You saw the mission. You got to go back and complete it, you know. And I was like, "I'm I'm definitely not going back. They said, "Well, we'll take you through the details of your pre-birth plan, and then maybe you'll understand why you are most certainly going back. And so it looked a lot like a video game in my mind's eye. Everything kind of played out like a movie. And there was a man there to greet me. He was wearing a plaid blazer and a fedora. He had this big empty gross. Cart and he said, "Okay, pick your life. And we went through this grocery store, and on the aisles there were these big, huge cereal boxes, and every cereal box had a life experience in it. And I just start grabbing everything. I'm like, "Ooh, Earth, okay, here we go. And I start grabbing, you know, just like the most dense experiences, like prostitution, drug addiction, dereliction, being a perpetrator, an abuser-you know, like all of these different things. You know, I picked my parents, I picked the family line that I would be born into, the reasons why, the sexual traumas that I would experience as a small child, and I also saw the moment when I picked the souls that I would come into contract with to have these experiences with, and the one that's very vivid for me is that when I picked the life experience of childhood sexual trauma, there was like a little orb of light behind it, and this orb of light came to my orb of light, and we came into a contract with one another, so the man that would sexually abuse me as a small child, I saw the moment that we actually chose each other for this mission, and all of the reasons why. And one of the main reasons is because in a previous life I had been his abuser in this same capacity. So we were balancing the life, we were balancing the life experience this time around, so you know I'm taking and there's also things in the cart that I have not gotten to in my life yet, like overcoming triumph, recovery, spiritual awakening, being an author, being a speaker, being an advocate. You know, like and I'm just thinking like, wow, that's really lovely cart filler because none of that resonated in my life because none of it had happened yet. So you know, I'm taken through the details of the pre-birth plan. I find myself back in front of the table of beings, and I was like, "Wow, thank you guys so much for all this information. It all really makes sense now. It really felt like two tons of bondage had been released from my spirit. You know, like things had no longer happened to me; they had happened for me because, on some soul level, I had chosen it for the evolvement of myself. And so, I thanked them for showing me the information. I was so like grateful, and and I and I just remember saying, like, I'm so happy to have this information. I still will not be returning to Earth, but I'm grateful to know that I had picked that life. And they said, "Listen, this is not a punishment. You are not going back to Earth because you are condemned back to Earth. You're going back there because you still have to balance your life. You signed up for that divine mission that you just saw in your mind's eye, and and you're here for the most exciting time to be on Earth. You volunteered to go down to Earth for Earth's ascension. There's a transformation of consciousness taking place, and you wanted to be there for it, and so that is why you'll be going back. And the first part of your life was boot camp, and the second part of your life will be carrying out the mission, and it won't be nearly as challenging.
Betty Guadagno 43:03
You'll have mentors and teachers, and and soulmates and kindred spirits that will all help you on your journey. And I was like, that all sounds super great. I am not going. I was like, you guys have 1000s of other souls here for this mission. You don't need me. I'm just like one out of just so many, you know. Like I don't need to go back. And again, they said, "Listen, you don't have to go back into her. If you are having a problem going back into this body, we'll give you a new body to go back into. But you will balance your life. You will complete the cart, and and so we'll show you the baby that you'll be born into. And so they showed me everything about this little baby, her ethnicity, her gender, where she would be born, who her parents would be, her adversity, her purpose, her opportunities to overcome. And this baby was going to have to balance my life already, and so she was going to have all of the same life challenges that I had already experienced. And so I just thought, like, okay, if these are really my only two options, starting from zero or going back into a life that's already halfway complete, then I'll go back into her, meaning me, this body, and I just I found myself sifting back into my awareness. And they said, you know, like trust us, it won't be that challenging. And I was like, I do not trust you guys, and I just found myself back in my awareness on my bathroom floor.
Jeffery Olsen 44:25
I just glanced in the rearview mirror for a moment, just to see, you know, what traffic was doing and what was going on, and and this was an interesting insight as well, because as I glanced, I saw my youngest son, Griffin, just a toddler, and I noticed that he was sleeping soundly in his car seat. He had fallen asleep, and I thought, "What a beautiful boy! You know, I mean, the miracle child. I mean, we were told after our first son that we might not have more children. There was complications, and things had happened. But there I saw him, and I and I noticed details. It's like wow, and and and it was a moment, you know. It was just a glance, but in that glance, it's like time stood still, and I I noticed how long his eyelashes, you know, how long his eyelashes were, and how his hands were folded on the little car seat thing, and and then I heard Spencer, my oldest son, who was seven at the time, and he was playing with action figures. He was making all the delightful noise of a boy having, you know, a lightsaber battle. And I, I thought, wow, what, what a, what a blessing to have these boys. And then I glanced over at Tamra, who had she had also reclined her seat back and had fallen sound asleep, but she was still holding on to my hand, you know. And I thought, wow, you know, 10 years into the marriage and busy with careers, and she's still holding on to my hand, like like she did, you know, when we went on our first date. And I, it was this moment of gratitude. It was this absolute moment of gratitude. Look what I'm surrounded with, and of course, then my attention was back to the road. And it was about, it was about an hour after that, and there was reports of crosswinds. There was reports of a truck that was driving erratically on the interstate. I think the hardest part of the story is that I may have dozed off at the wheel. I may have just nodded off for a second, and there's no excuse for that, you know. But in hindsight, as I processed it, wow! I was this young father. I was driven to be successful to provide for my family. You know, doing those 14 and 16 hour days at work, and although we had had a weekend, I I believe I dozed off. I think I just nodded off, and in doing so, I had swerved to the right, and I overcorrected to the left, and I lost control of the car. And the car then began to roll, not off the road, but down the road at 70-five miles per hour, and it was a horrific automobile accident. I I blacked out for the actual crash, but when the car came to a stop, I was completely conscious. I was completely conscious, and the first thing I was aware of was Spencer, my seven-year-old, in the back seat crying hysterically. I mean, he was hysterical, and I, I my my my inclination was I've got to get to my son. I've got to get to my boy. But that's when I realized that I could not move. I was pinned, and I couldn't tell if it was the floorboard or the seat. There was the rancid smell of gasoline, all the all the broken glass, and I was unaware of my injuries. What had actually happened is that both of my legs had been crushed. In fact, my left leg was eventually amputated above the knee. It had been damaged so badly. My back had been broken in two places, but ironically, not damaging the spinal column. It had cracked the vertebrae, but not not damaged my my spinal cord, my rib cage was damaged, my lungs were collapsing, my right arm had almost been completely torn out, and then the seat belt had cut through and ruptured all my insides. I was unaware of any of that. All I knew is my son's crying. I can't get to him, and that's when the brutal reality hit that no one, no one else was crying, and I became acutely aware.
Jeffery Olsen 48:53
And I won't go into the details of all of that, but I knew, I saw, I knew that both my youngest son Griffin and that Tamra, my wife, were they were they were gone. They were killed instantly in the accident, and that's that's the darkest hell I think a man could ever be in. You know, I'm I'm losing consciousness. I've got a hysterical seven-year-old. Half the family has passed, and I was driving the car. I mean, I mean the guilt, the regret, the panic of can't I get those three seconds back? And and I don't share that to be graphic or or morbid, but that was the situation, and I begin to lose consciousness, but then I felt light come. I mean, I literally felt light, like tangible light, come and surround me, and it felt as if I was being raised up out of this horrible situation. Like I was, I was raising. Above the accident scene, and suddenly I could breathe. The pain was gone, and I was a little bit confused. Like, well, what's happening? And as I was coming to terms of being in this light, suddenly, Tamra, my wife, who I knew, I knew she was deceased. Suddenly, she's there in this bubble of light, if you will, with me, and she's gorgeous. She's radiant. She's very much alive, and and the contrast of what I witnessed at the accident, and then here she is, and she's she's beautiful, but she's emphatic that I can't stay. She's like, you got to go back. You got to go back. You can't stay. And she was even emotional. And we literally had this conversation that if I stayed with her, Spencer, our seven-year-old, would be orphaned. And we made a deal. We made a deal, and I, I gave her my word. I'll come back. I'll go back. And for whatever reason, and her injuries were quite severe. She couldn't come back, but I could. And and and we made the deal that I would come back, and that I would care for our son. And it's the most profound goodbye I'll ever say, but we embraced, and I said goodbye, and knew I was going. and And it was the thought, it was the intention. I didn't have to figure out how do I go back. You know, it was it was simply that thought of I'm going back, and then, just like I was whisked away, and found myself wandering around a very busy level one emergency room trauma center hospital. Now I have no concept of time, you know, in this bubble of light, if you will. I later found out people had arrived at the scene. You know, emergency services were called. I was extricated from the car. I had to be airlifted or life flighted to the closest level one trauma center. My seven year old Spencer was banged up a little bit. He had bruised his ribs and he had cracked his wrist, but he basically walked away from the accident. But emotionally, he thought he had lost the whole family. Very traumatic for a little boy. And anyway, I was unaware of any of that. All I knew is I had crashed the car. I had had this profound goodbye, and here I am, wandering about the hospital, and it's like I had 360 degree awareness. I was aware of everything. I was aware of the doctors, the nurses, the other patients, the families of the patients. I had an awareness, and and everyone I encountered, I knew them. I knew them like like I I knew their soul. I I saw them in a profound way. I mean, for instance, a a nurse rushes by me in the hallway, unaware of me. Um, and in that moment, I felt, I knew, I almost experienced her, her childhood, her abuse, the abuse she had received as a child, the physical, emotional, sexual abuse, and and it was very real and tangible, almost like I was her. But but at the same time, I saw her magnificence. I'm like, wow, look at her, serving, healing, you know, helping in this hospital. And this was true of everyone I saw until I came upon a body or a man on a gurney.
Jeffery Olsen 53:55
I didn't feel anything from, which I thought was strange, given the connection I was feeling, and I stepped forward to look, and that's when I realized, oh my goodness, that's me. Well, that's my body. I mean, me. I was having this profound connected experience, but there was my my skin suit. You know, the flesh. I mean, there was this this body, and I had. had a profound experience there. I'm looking at my lifeless body. That's just a wreck. It's deranged, you know. But I had this whole new realization and appreciation for the body. I was like, "Wow! I took it for granted. I mean, I had been a athlete. I my body had always been my my biggest asset, and there it was, so broken. and And I realized the miracle that our bodies are. Like I didn't have to remind my heart to beat, you know, or think about my lungs breathing, or I didn't have. To teach my eyes how to see or my feet how to run, I, I was looking at this miracle machine, and yet I knew mine was so broken, and I had made a promise. I had to get back in. I had to get back in that body, and again, you know, it's the thought, was the intention. As soon as I'm like, okay, I'm going back in, boom. Then I'm back in to the body, to the the density, to the weight, to the guilt, to the grief, to the regret, to the trauma, to all of those emotions. And it was, I mean, it was horrible. You know, they had a vent of they had big tube down my throat during the breathing from my lungs. My legs had been crushed and were immobile. My right arm was completely immobile, and then they they tied down my left hand because I kept grabbing at all the medical equipment. And I, gosh, I spent weeks in ICU. I I spent almost six months in the hospital. There was 18 surgeries in all, putting me back together. I I learned a lot. I experienced a lot. It's almost like I was in this halfway in between place. My family, my younger brother and his wife had taken in Spencer, my youngest son. They just brought him in as one of their own, and my my family was so supportive. I I'm the middle son. I have an older brother and younger brother, and they they showed up as my heroes. I mean, they they practically lost their jobs. They wouldn't leave my side to make sure I was going to live, to make sure I was going to make it, and the hospital was an interesting experience. the The most profound experience may have been at the end of my hospital stay. I it is probably worth pointing out, you know, because I I I know all the skepticism. People have said, well, you know, you were injured. Your brain was shutting down. The oxygen wasn't getting to your brain. You were hallucinating, and that may well be true. But it's worth pointing out that it was very real to me, and I hadn't been given any narcotics at that point. And the most profound experience at the end of my hospital stay, I was off of the heavy narcotics, I was in the rehabilitation wing, almost ready to come home. So the most profound experiences were at the scene of the accident, where yes, trauma could do that. But at the end of my hospital stay, when I wasn't traumatized, I was healing. I was getting better. I was ready to go home, and I had this profound vision. Or or dream or out of body experience. I I finally was able to roll on my slot on my side and sleep on my side, and I'd laid so long on my back that I'd rubbed all the hair off the back of my head. My brothers were giving me a bad time about you know being bald on the back of my head, and they they were they were so good to try to bring some light, you know, to a very heavy, dark situation. But this particular night, I fell asleep, and in that sleep, I became acutely aware, although my body was sleeping, and I felt the light come again.
Jeffery Olsen 58:18
Just just like at the scene of the accident, the light came, and I'd been grieving so miserably in the hospital at the loss of the family. I mean, the physical challenges were one thing, but it was the emotional challenge. And as that light came, I felt that same comfort, and it felt as if I was rising above the hospital bed. But this time, the light, like dispensed, it went away, and I was in the most beautiful, incredible place. There really aren't words, and and I was whole. I I had both legs. I had both feet. I I began to run, and and it it felt like a physical experience. Like I could feel every cell, if you will, of my body. Even though I was out of the body, I I was running, and I could feel the energy of the ground building with feet, and I could taste the sky, and and and and and feel the flowers, and and and and I I was joyfully running, thinking I'm whole. I'm whole. I could feel the intelligence in my feet and calves and thighs, and I'm running, thinking I'm. And you know, people say heaven or the other side or the spirit world. That the only word that comes close to what I was experiencing. I was home. I was home. It felt so familiar, so welcoming, so cosmically ancient yet current. I was, and I'm running about. Just like celebrating, I'm whole. I'm home, and I'm whole. And then I got the message I wasn't there to stay. And at that time, this corridor appeared to my left, and I knew intuitively I'm to go that way. So I I made my way down the corridor. And at the end of the corridor was a crib. Now Griffin, my little son, had been sleeping in a crib before the accident. He was only 14 months old, so he was just a toddler, and he was still in his crib, and he was learning how to climb out of it. You know, at that point, but I'd had so much trauma around Griffin in the car crash, his car seat had broken apart, and he was he was ejected from the car, and it just haunted me. And I saw this crib, and I thought of Griffin, and I went to the crib, and I looked in the crib, and there he was, and he was sleeping beautifully, just like when I looked in the rearview mirror, there he was, and I noticed the details. And I looked at his eyelashes, and as as a father, I swept him up in my arms. I picked him up, and it felt so physical. I mean, have you ever picked up a sleeping child? That there's a weight. There's a heat. And I and I feeled him, and he felt solid against me. And I was even wondering how can this be such a physical, sensory experience. And I'm holding him. I'm feeling him breathe, and I can feel his breath in my neck. And I, I leaned over and I smelled his hair. I smelled it, you know. I mean, I'm like, this is my boy, and I I began to weep, and as I wept, there was this profound, powerful cosmic presence coming up behind me, and it was coming closer and closer, and I'm holding my son, and the guilt, the guilt, regret begin to bubble up in me. I'm thinking, wow, he's here because I crashed the car. You know, his life was cut short because I overcorrected or I dozed off. And I mean, and the guilt and the presence is coming closer and closer. And given my, you know, given my upbringing and the belief system, I thought that's that's God, and I am in so much trouble. My little boy here because of my tap, and and I had the thought as the presence became right behind me. I had the thought: I hope I can be forgiven, and that's when this one almost felt physical too. I felt these divine arms just wrap around and hold me and my little boy, and that the whole lid just came off. There was this down mode of love, of trust, of peace. the the The first the first message, the first communication was, "There's nothing to forgive. Everything's in divine order, and and I thought, "How can that be?
Jeffery Olsen 1:03:08
I mean, half the family's gone. My little boy's here. You know, I here I am arguing with God, if you will. Like, how can this be in divine order? But there was so much peace, and then I begin to see my life, and I was looking at my life in the arms of the divine, and I'm like, "Well, that was a mistake. I didn't mean to do that. And the communication was, "What did you learn? In other words, there was no judgment. What did you learn? I even saw things, and I said, "Well, that was wrong. I knew it was wrong. I did it anyway, but the beauty of being held in these divine arms communication was that's your judgment, not not not honest. You are as beloved. You are as precious. You are as perfect as the child you hold, and and he was perfect to me. I mean, he's my little boy, right, and and it was a very personal experience. I knew that that was true of every living soul. That that that expanded and ripped out. And I was also taught about choice. You know, I was told you can be mad at God your whole life because this was allowed to happen, and that's a choice. I was told that I could beat myself up for the rest of my life because I was driving the car, and that's a choice. And I was given an interesting choice. I was told that I could give my son back, that I could hand him over, that I could trust.
