The story behind Wisdom From North
It all began with Jannecke Øinæs, a former musical theatre artist driven by a profound quest to unravel life's mysteries and discover its purpose. In 2012, fueled by this passion, she took a significant leap, investing in a camera and embarking on a global journey. Her mission: to engage in insightful conversations with renowned writers, teachers, coaches, and speakers, probing the profound questions of existence.
Among the esteemed guests featured on her show are luminaries like Byron Katie, Teal Swan, Matt Kahn, Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton, Evette Rose, Anita Moorjani, Dr. Eben Alexander, Lorna Byrne, Sri Mooji, Akiane Kramarik, Alex Ferrari, Victor Otto, Aaron Doughty, and Dr. John De Martini, alongside many others. These conversations have not only enriched Jannecke's understanding but have also provided invaluable insights to her audience.
Fast forward to today, with over 500 thought-provoking videos later, Jannecke's YouTube channels, Wisdom From North and Wisdom From North No, have collectively amassed over 10 million views. A testament to the impact of her work, these channels boast a dedicated following of over 90,000 individuals, supported by the generous donations of viewers.
In 2018, Jannecke took her vision further, joining forces with web designer Ragnhild Hannoschøck Vea to establish Wisdom From North as a company. Together, they introduced initiatives like the Wisdom From North Membership and comprehensive online programs, extending the reach of their mission to inspire and enlighten seekers worldwide.
