In this interview I meet with former academic neurosurgeon Dr Eben Alexander, MD and co-founder of Sacred Acoustics Karen Newell in a conversation about lessons from a near-death experience and the afterlife.
Near-death experiences
Eben had a near-death experience that completely altered his life in 2008. In this interview, he shares the many revelations he had from his NDE, what an NDE can teach us and also how he was able to integrate the experience. We also touched upon topics such as;

For 54 years, Eben Alexander was a neurosurgeon who thought he had a very good idea of how the brain generated consciousness, mind and spirit. However, in the predawn hours of November 10, 2008, he was driven into a coma by a rare and mysterious bacterial meningitis-encephalitis of an unknown cause. On the seventh day, to the surprise of everyone, he started to awaken. Alexander’s story is not a fantasy. Before he underwent his journey, he could not reconcile his knowledge of neuroscience with any belief in heaven, God, or the soul. Today Alexander is a doctor who believes that true health can be achieved only when we realize that God and the soul are real and that death is not the end of personal existence but only a transition.
