What if other dimensions exist alongside the reality we experience every day? After more than 20 years of conscious out-of-body travel, Darnella has explored realities that seem to operate by entirely different rules

In this fascinating conversation, Jannecke speaks with mystic, author, and longtime out-of-body traveler Darnella Ford about more than 20 years of out-of-body experiences (OBEs). Darnella shares what she has encountered beyond ordinary physical awareness—from mathematical realities and underwater worlds to unusual beings, portals, and what appeared to be future societies.

How Her Out-of-Body Experiences Began

Darnella’s experiences began unexpectedly in 2006. After a profound encounter that altered her perception of consciousness, she later found herself standing outside her physical body while it remained asleep on the sofa.

Initially frightened, she gradually began exploring these experiences intentionally. Over time, she learned to enter out-of-body states more consistently and came to believe that the brain normally filters much of what consciousness is capable of perceiving.

Rather than claiming that her experiences represent an absolute truth, Darnella is careful to describe them as her own experiences and interpretations.

Mathematical Realities and an Underwater World

Some of Darnella’s most unusual experiences involve realities that seem to operate according to completely different principles.

She describes entering mathematical realities filled with complex equations and symbols and even experiencing numbers as conscious. These encounters led her to view mathematics as deeply connected to the underlying structure of reality.

Water also plays an important role in her journeys. Darnella describes oceans as portals and recalls entering an extraordinary underwater world governed by highly conscious children. In this reality, she says, music functioned as breath: she needed to know and sing a particular song in order to exist there.

She has also encountered conscious trees, non-human beings, teachers and societies with unfamiliar landscapes and architecture.

What Happens When We Die?

Darnella’s out-of-body experiences have also shaped her understanding of death and the afterlife. She believes that as the physical body approaches death, the perceptual filters associated with the brain begin to loosen. This may allow a person to become aware of deceased loved ones, guides or other forms of consciousness.

Yet one of the most grounded messages in the conversation is about life itself. For Darnella, extraordinary experiences are not the goal. What matters is how we integrate what we learn and bring it back into everyday life.

Ultimately, her experiences invite a simple but profound question: Could reality be much larger than what our physical senses allow us to see?

Something profound happened that had never happened to me before, but that night changed my entire life. Turned around, my body did not join me. I thought, "Oh my God, I died! I died! Something said, "Look up! But if you've ever turned a kaleidoscope and seen the beautiful fractals of colours, that's exactly what it looked like. I went straight through the fractals as they were blending and weaving together, my consciousness was intertwining and twirling, and I ended up in the beautiful, what is often called the black void. I was the quintessential master of attracting the completely emotionally unavailable man. Every relationship began and ended the same. It was the deep pain of that trauma that drew me within. It pulled me inside of myself, and from there, that is where I began to grow.

Jannecke Øinæs 0:53

You've said that you went to other universes. I'm like, how is that like?

Darnella Ford 0:56

All of these dimensions are not separate. They're all part of one cohesive system. The great misconception is that I'm here and it's over there. Actually, it's right here with us, separated by frequency. I want to give you maybe some examples.

Jannecke Øinæs 1:12

These masters that you met on the other side. Could you talk to me about what kind of masters they are and what they taught you about our planet and Earth and what we're going through.

Darnella Ford 1:22

Mother Earth literally came through the bottom of my feet and began to express to me a message. Then I'm going to add the piece that I rarely share on podcasts. I've only shared this one other time, but it really is.

Jannecke Øinæs 1:40

Hey, I have a favour to ask you. If you value these conversations, then please subscribe to my channel. Darnella Ford, welcome to the Wisdom From North Show.

Darnella Ford 1:52

I've been waiting for that introduction forever. Thank you so much. I really, I'm so, like I said, I've loved you forever, and it is such a joy and an honour to be here, and so I think we're going to have a wonderful time. I want to thank, always want to drop in and thank the viewers who stopped by. Thank you for your time, your attention, and your love. I really appreciate it. So thank you.

Jannecke Øinæs 2:12

Me too, and I am truly excited to dive into your cosmic wisdom. I got to say today because you have been a cosmic or a multi-dimensional, we got to say, traveller for more than two decades, and we'll learn more about what that is later on. You're also an award-winning author, speaker, mystic, and you have an extensive background within quantum physics and neuroscience. And I know there's so much to delve into today. Knowing everything you do, how do you feel our conversation today might expand people's consciousness?

Darnella Ford 2:51

What? Thank you for asking that. I think one of the things as I as I began the podcast circuit that became really important to me in sharing because I never thought I would be sharing any of this with the world. But what was really important to me was how can I take my experiences and ground them in a way that it is not just the fantastic tales of what I've seen, but that it can help someone who's struggling to get out of bed in the morning because they're depressed, or struggle or struggling someone who's in a deep grief cycle because their loved one has passed, someone who feels that their life is not what it ultimately what they wanted it to be, or that they feel just entrenched in in encased in suffering. So, my goal today, my intention is to is to share what I've learned through lived wisdom. I always put this little disclaimer out here because it can be very at times controversial when you're talking about out of body experiences and your translation of that and what that means for your own spiritual philosophies. So I always preface this by saying I am not saying this is the truth or a truth. I am saying this is my truth that I have experienced through lived experience. So I just want to put that out there. I'm not saying I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone of anything. So I think that's really important in the OBE space because if you don't say that, then people will think, "Oh my God, who who does she think she is, or she how does she know? So I always put that out there humbly as a disclaimer. My intention is pure. My heart is good. Take the best and leave the rest. So, yeah,

Jannecke Øinæs 4:31

I really resonate with that, and I think you're in the right place because our audience is so open-minded and in their hearts, and have heard so many things that are quite out there on this channel. So this is good.

Darnella Ford 4:44

Oh, good.

Jannecke Øinæs 4:45

It all started for you in 2006. Like before that, when you were a child, you didn't have these mystical experiences. You were like full blown out of body experience. As in that year, could you take us? Through your first out of body experience,

Darnella Ford 5:02

yes, and I'm going to add the piece that I rarely share on podcasts. I've only shared this one other time, but it really is. It will give you perspective. This began in body initially, and then it expanded into out of body. So I wanted to share the very profound experience that happened in the summer of 2006, I was sitting on my couch Friday night. Always loved. There was a show called 2020, Barbara Walters and Hugh Downs. That was my show. So I was sitting. I was waiting Friday night. I loved to watch 2020. And when I was sitting there, something profound happened that had never happened to me before. But that night changed my entire life. What happened in that moment was that there was a being who entered my living room. Now I did not see the being visibly, but the being merged with me, and then all of a sudden, my consciousness-that I know myself as Darnella, this personality self-was reduced down to the size of a dime, and and I went all the way to the left side. I was pushed all the way to the left, and this being entered and took over my body, took over the motor functions, took over my vocal cords. My voice felt very heavy, and I had this very deep man voice. Now, I always hesitate in sharing that because people will say, "Oh my God, this woman was taken over by demons from from the gate. She's a devil. No, that is not what happened. This was a being. This being was a teacher and a guide, and the reason this being merged with me because everything has reason and purpose. This being told me immediately, be still. That was the first words, be still. So immediately, you know, I'm going to do what, be still. Who is this, and what's happening to my consciousness? I felt myself very reduced in the corner, and the being said, just be still. And immediately, I felt this energy come from the top all the way down, flooding through my body, all the way down to my feet, and I begin to feel light, light and lighter and lighter and lighter, and I begin to feel a sense of cellular euphoria. I felt euphoric all the way down to my cells, and the being said to me clearly, "You needed a healing because what had what was happening inside of your body when this manifested? It would have been too late, and it would have been terminal. In that moment, the being flashed a picture of me, went into the future. What we would consider the future, but it really wasn't the future. I was very thin and pale and yellow, jaundice, and I screamed when I saw it. And the being said, gave me some instructions. At the time I was training, I was I was training for a bodybuilding competition because I loved bodybuilding back in the day. And the being said, take three weeks off from the gym, 21 days, and eat only organic. Very specific instructions. Lots of water, only water, only organic foods. No processed foods, no sugars. And the being proceeded to share with me my belief system. When I was 12 years old, I had heard a doctor on a TV programme on a talk show, said NutraSweet caused cancer. I was 12 years old, and I remember hearing that and saying, "Ooh, well, later in life, as a teenager, I started putting NutraSweet in my tea. Didn't even think about that, but it had gone into my subconscious mind. So whenever I would drink this tea, I would always say, I need to stop using this NutraSweet, but I felt like I was addicted to it. So the being said, because you accepted that belief, it manifested biologically, and whatever so you believe, that was my first lesson. The being said, whatever you believe translates into your cellular structure, and so the being said, you can never have NutraSweet again ever because your belief system does not support you having that. Wild, right?

Jannecke Øinæs 9:11

Interesting.

Darnella Ford 9:13

That's that's a that's a very profound lesson. So if you let's say you smoke cigarettes, there's obviously been shown a link between that and illness, right? But if you believe, if you have a high belief system, well, I got to stop smoking. These things are killing me. You're literally setting the biological programming of the body to, at certain point, destruct, and that's what I had done from 12 years old. Which makes us wonder, what did you hear at 1011, 12, seven, six that you accepted that's running in the peripheral in the background. So from that point, this being showed me time, the illusion of time, and how it did that was it was it was 10 o'clock. The being said blank. I want to show you the illusion of time. I blanked. And I opened my eyes. It was 8o'clock in the morning in a microsecond. So when that happened, it freaked me out. I jumped up off the couch and I thought, okay, the lesson is over because I was like, wait a minute, it was nighttime a moment ago. I had not gone to sleep. From that moment, the being basically the being withdrew its energy and said it would always be here to support me. I asked the being before it left, "What is your name? And he said, "My name is Emmanuel. I looked it up. It means God listens, God hears. That was the meaning of the name. So, all to say, after this, I felt my reality shattered. I was completely disoriented. I was terrified. I ended up driving myself to the hospital, and I walked in and I said, "I think about this. It sounds crazy. I know. I said, "I am here because I believe I have a brain tumour. Okay, they're like, "What? I had seen a movie with John Travolta years before, and called Phenomenon, and he had all these supernatural gifts come online. At the end, you find out he's got a brain tumour. So I'm thinking this is this must be what's happening. That I was able to see all this and have all these experiences. They ran a bunch of tests on my brain and said nothing is wrong with your brain. So I left the hospital completely deflated. I had one friend, only one friend that I knew, who even spoke about things of the mystical, mysterious world. I called her up. I set up a dinner with her. While we were sitting in in my car after the dinner, I was trying to explain to her what was happening. She started talking about her reincarnational past, and she's talked about being an Eskimo woman. And she said, "I, I was having problems with my husband, and he didn't love me as much as he loved the sun. So I took the son and put the son in the ice, and I submerged him under water and drowned him. And she said, and then when she said that, I was looking straight ahead, and she she made this weird sound. And when I turned and looked at her, I turned and looked, and this woman was no longer in my seat. That I knew there was an old Eskimo woman sitting in my front seat. When she made that sound, her entire form-I can explain later, possibly how that happened. All I know is when I saw that, I opened the door and I and I just ran down the street. Didn't stop. Didn't get keys, keys, purse. Everything was left in the car. I'm running to save myself. Came back to the car. She came back. She had no awareness of what happened, but all of a sudden, I started seeing things. Now remember, Yannika, I'm in a very 3D world. I didn't have access to experiences that were beyond beyond. But now, all of a sudden, it's bleeding into my everyday life. Why am I seeing things? Why am I hearing things? Why am I knowing things? So it was a complete disorientation that changed my entire life. One night, I went to sleep on my sofa, got up to go to the restroom, turned around. My body did not join me. I thought, "Oh my God, I died! I died! In that moment, I looked up. Something said, "Look up!

And if you've ever seen a kaleidoscope, if you've ever turned a kaleidoscope and seeing the beautiful fractals of colours. That's exactly what it looked like. I went straight through the fractals as they were blending and weaving together. My consciousness was intertwining and twirling, and I ended up in the beautiful what is often called the black void. It very midnight black, beautiful at very distant points. There's there's stars, pinpoints of light. Immediately was there for just a bleep. Was was travelling at very high speeds. Was very it was very profound to me because there was no there was no point of reference for physical. There was no more point of reference for my body anymore. So I said, "What happened to me? What in the world? And then immediately back up back in my body, and I sat up on my couch. From that moment is when everything began to change for me because then I did a deep dive. This is 2006. People weren't talking about the average person wasn't talking about out of body experiences, near death experiences, it wasn't as common as you're hearing now. So I started putting myself in this. I'd wrap myself up in a blanket. I'd wrap myself up like like in a cocoon every day for two hours. I just felt like this was the path. I don't know why. I felt like I swaddled myself, and I knew that it was very important to be very still. That's why I wrapped myself up. I pinned my arms down so they couldn't move, and I would just breathe and focus on projecting my consciousness outside of my body. And I did that for months and months and months and months. I was determined to recreate. What I had experienced before, because I wanted to understand. I knew in that moment with absolute certainty, there's so much more than what we can see, than what we can see. So from that point, within a year, I could literally lay my body down in the foetal position. I no longer needed to wrap myself, and I begin to have these experiences where I was travelling and going into other dimensions and meeting teachers. And I'll pause here to let you ask any questions if you have them.

Jannecke Øinæs 15:33

You're sharing it so beautifully. I'm captured, like I'm watching a movie. I'm like, oh my goodness! And this is reality we're speaking about just a wider reality,

Darnella Ford 15:43

wider reality.

Jannecke Øinæs 15:46

Yeah, was this the time when you were in that really difficult breakup? Because sometimes it's connected to a deeper meaning for you, something unique that happened in your life.

Darnella Ford 16:00

Absolutely,

Jannecke Øinæs 16:01

absolutely. Because I know that you've said in another podcast that it's not meant for everybody. It's not just to sit down and do this and then it will happen. Like this was also part of your healing and also part of your big soul mission. Because today it seems like you have one job being here and another job being on the other side. So we'll speak more about that later, but speak about like the the what you were experiencing at that time.

Darnella Ford 16:26

Yes, thank you. Even when you said that, look at I got the chills. Like it's so weird when you said that. Almost felt this wave of emotion. My curriculum has been explored through relationships, right? And and these are very difficult relationships with men. What did that look like? It looked like Darnella always falling in love with someone who could not love her back. I was the quintessential master of attracting the completely emotionally unavailable man. I was always drawn to very beautiful men, and living in Los Angeles, I felt like it was just a den of temptation. To be honest with you, all these beautiful actors and models and athletes, and you know, I was always ruled by aesthetics in terms of being very drawn to, and I'm very honest about that. Growing up, wanting to be beautiful, being drawn to beautiful things, and being drawn to beautiful men. So my curriculum in my life was played out through this. And I had met this man. I was a man with the beautiful green eyes. I went on one date with him. He moved in my house the same day. Crazy, right? Two. We had a two and a half year. One of the most incredibly intoxicating, absolutely addicting, absolutely nervous system dysregulating relationships I've ever had. He was like he became my alpha and the omega. He was my life and my death. He was like my birth, and he was a catalyst for my spiritual birth. So when he said to me, "I'm leaving this relationship, I didn't know how to organise myself in my life without him. And I remember when he left the night he left, I felt like I was going to die. I just felt it felt like a death. It felt like the ultimate rejection. This person felt like my person. You know, we have that person. We feel like, oh, I can't live without this person. And it was a compounded fracture, so to speak. It was compounded throughout my lifetime of loving one man, loving another man, loving another man, loving another man, and all of them being master teachers for me to love myself. Could not love myself, only loving and wanting, needing them to validate me. So this was the mother of all lessons. Because after he left, it's like the programme broke, and I could not function. I cried every day for nine months. It was the deep pain of that trauma that drew me within, and I realised I'm going to have, I must, I must heal myself. I must find some way to pull myself up out of this constant. And it was, it was such a beautiful, perpetual, destructive cycle. Every relationship began and ended the same. And I know there are people who are listening who understand what I'm saying. I know there are people who are listening who understand what it is to literally be chemically. I was biochemically addicted. This man may as well have been heroin, right? No, I've never done a drug or narcotic in that way, but I feel that I know the experience of being an addict because I was absolutely as addicted to him as someone would be addicted to heroin, it pulled me inside of myself, and and from there, that is where I began to grow. So, thank you for asking about that. That's a very important piece.

Jannecke Øinæs 19:53

Well, thank you for sharing. I think a lot of us can relate to that experience, and. I think it's really brave of you because sometimes we can feel shame around it, and that's part of the story we don't want to share. And I can speak to the same that I've experienced a lot of the same. And I think one of my curriculums are also self love. So moving onwards, you started like a whole new world started to open up for you. I know a lot of many in my audience is very curious about the galactic, the cosmos, and our relationships to the cosmos. Was that something you explored? Because you you've said that you went to other universes. I'm like, what? How is that like?

Darnella Ford 20:38

Gosh, you know, it was. You know, for me, it was like Christmas going to sleep at night, or really in the afternoon. I did this a lot in the afternoon with my little naps. Yes, I did work. I don't know how I survived because I was taking naps and working and raising. I was a single mom raising my daughter. I started. I always found that where I was drawn and where I was pulled was in direct relationship to the lesson I was receiving. So I don't ever get the sense I was just exploring random fantastic things. I feel like I was shown things for specific reasons, and there were a lot of teachers on the other side of the veil who were helping me, who were connecting with me, and I want to give you maybe some examples. If I could give you some examples of some things. Initially, I was going into systems of of experience or dimensions that were mathematical equations. So now we're coming out of linear processing. This is not going to sound. It's not going to sound linear. It's not going to sound. It's not the way we process experience here. Initially, again, I would leave my body, and I would see equations-incredibly complicated mathematical, algebraic equations. They were also mixed with hieroglyphics. They looked like ancient hieroglyphics, and these were systems of reality. And my consciousness would enter into numbers. What I can tell you for sure about numbers: numbers are conscious. I stand as a living witness to that. Numbers are conscious. I always felt too like there's a part of me that believes that the mind of God is mathematics. I believe that God, in part, is an incredible mathematical display. I believe that the language of the universe. I know the language of music. I believe that the underlining component of it is absolutely mathematical. Math is one of the most beautiful. Oh, mathematics is one of the most beautiful sciences. Mathematics. I believe if you can understand math. I believe you can understand the math, the mind of God. If you can understand the highest levels of math, I believe you have direct access to understanding the mind of God.

Jannecke Øinæs 22:51

Powerful. Did that give you some mathematical skills as well?

Darnella Ford 22:56

It didn't. You know, I've always been a language person. I was an English major and a writer and poet, author. So math was always something I I liked, but I never had an aptitude for it. Never had an aptitude. My math my math skills did get better, but my brain began to change as a direct result of having all these experiences. And I'll tell you how that happened. As I began to see other realms and other places, my my consciousness begin to expand, and I begin to take in the ability to take in more. What does that mean? If you take the average human brain, we're processing around 40 to 50 bits of data per second. The subconscious mind, in contrast, is is processing up to 40 million bits per second. So, unconscious, the subconscious mind is processing 1 million times more data. The brain, our beautiful brain, our central nervous system, the brain is serving as a reduction valve. It's a compressor. So everything that's happening in the room around you right now is being compressed down to a tiny minutiae of reality that you are organising in a linear process, so that you can be able to and have a sense of awareness here and know how you can organise your day, what you need to do next, what you need to focus on. But if you were to, if we were to release that compression valve just a little bit, you would see all the things that you can't see that are standing right beside you. And I believe that that's what's happening in OBEs, and I certainly believe that's what's happening in NDEs. Their reduction valve, especially those who are experiencing clinical death and their brain stops immediately when the physical brain stops, immediately the compression valve is released. That's why it can be a shock because all of a sudden you go from 40 bits to 40 million bits. So what what was happening is that the reduction valve on my brain was letting in a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more. So I was able to see things. I could see things in my room at night. I could see people walking through walls. I could have experience. I could see portals. I could see things. Opening up into these systems of reality, I have been to what would be considered futuristic society. Societies. I remember one in particular. There was no 90 degree angles. Everything was circular. Everything in orchestra and their architecture was cir. I love architecture. I've always loved architecture, but I was particularly fond of the unique architecture of these buildings. The sand, the ground was was pink, beautiful pink mauve peach sand. That was the ground. I went into an underwater system, and by the way, I want to say the water is a portal. Absolutely, I have experienced many many dimensions through the water, going through literally flying above the Pacific Ocean, flying above the Atlantic or the Indian Ocean, going down all the way to the very bottom where people do not go. It's too deep for the human. It is through there there are portal systems, and I was able to go into an underwater world once. Interesting thing about this world is that this world was ruled by the children, and the children were incredibly advanced consciousness. And in this world of underwater, there was there was breath. So imagine it sounds weird. Okay, go with me. Now we're going to step outside of linear context again. the The children breathed, but the breath was not air. The breath was music, and when you were in this dimension, you had to know the song because the song was the breath. When I went into this dimension, I knew the song, and I was singing the song. The song was so beautiful, and unfortunately, I was not allowed to bring that back with me. But I remember just being in awe and saying, "How did I know the song? Because the song is breath. The kind of beings I encountered. Some of them I felt like they were ascended masters. Some of them were humanoid or human in appearance. Others were not human in appearance. Some of them were trees. I've had I have a very profound relationship with trees. The trees are some of my absolute favourite favourite teachers.

I left my body one night and I went to the sequoias. If you're familiar with Sequoia National Park in Three Rivers, California, the giant redwoods of Northern California and the Sequoia National Park, what I can tell you about the sequoias, I appeared on the giant forest floor, and if you stand, and I, and I, and I've done many, many healing retreats in the Sequoia forest, but I've never done it out of body. I've only been in my body. So out of body, what that system looks like-it's beautiful. Think of the most beautiful shade of green you've ever seen, and it's fluorescent. It's it's it's a fluorescent green light, and the trees are projecting this to each other. They are speaking to one another in frequency. All the trees are connected. Science does confirm the trees are connected through the underground root system, but these beings are highly conscious, sentient beings. So I went and I stood in the middle and I watched the communication between the trees themselves, the mighty, mighty sequoias, and they-they were aware of me being there, and they projected all of their love. They turned their love on me, and they filled me up with love. And they also gave my body a healing. I could feel they were actually healing. Now, when you walk through the forest, Yannika, when you walk through a forest environment, the trees have consciousness. They are aware of you. They are decoding your frequency with every step that you take. When you step on the ground, the ground itself, Mother Earth, decodes your frequency because you are a unit of energy, and you are giving off a vibration. So I ask the trees, and the trees, I can tell you, they have a personality. They all have very different personalities. They're not all the same. The trees that were my favourite reminded me of of an elderly a British woman. They were very charming. They had a wonderful sense of humour. They they sounded almost like they had British accents. I know that sounds weird, but that is how I interpreted the trees. And the trees, I asked them, "Do you do you do you love everybody? And you know what they said to me? They said, "No, we don't. Isn't that interesting? And they said, "If someone walks through this, if she's, they said, "Theoretically, yes, but we have personalities too. And if someone walks upon the ground and we know they're not a friend of Mother Earth. We are not partial to that being. That's what they told me when you walk, and they said when you walk through the forest, the forest will decode your frequency, and the forest will the forest can decode your DNA and your cellular body, and it knows where you have imbalances at because it can read your energy, and it will fill in the gaps of your energy if it is affectionate. It will give you more. That's what they told me. I thought that was very interesting. Through theta frequency, they will uplift the vibration of yourself. Everybody's going to have some level up upliftment because nature is healing. Right, and you walk through nature; it is an upliftment of the vibration. But the trees will go above and beyond if they feel that you are a friend of nature. So please be nice to the trees because they are very, very aware of us.

Jannecke Øinæs 30:13

Fascinating. You know, my mind cannot understand this, and it gets so limiting with words. But I'll try. So when we're out of our body, is it like this that then you can access anywhere, any realm, any dimension, and is it really infinite of dimensions and planets and universes? And because we hear of this star race or these star beings, and then we hear about angels, and then we hear about elementals, and now we heard about a mathematic realm, and then we heard about an underwater realm. It seems like there are infinite amount of realms that we can travel to, or that is maybe, maybe it's not accessible to us, but that it exists. It

Darnella Ford 31:05

absolutely exists. It absolutely exists. And if again, if you think about all the things that we cannot see, I like to I like to frame frame it in this context as well. The great misconception is that I'm here and it's over there. Actually, it's right here with us, separated by frequency. So all of these dimensions are not separate. They are all part of one cohesive system that is separated by the vibratory rate itself. So theoretically, can you access anything? Absolutely. Will you? Probably absolutely not. The reason being is because just like it is here, as above, so below; as within, so without. The law of correspondence, the law of resonance-you're only going to access what you have vibratory access to. Simply the same as here. We don't translate it as that, but every single thing in your experience, you are in frequency alignment with. Otherwise, it would be impossible for you to experience it. So the same is true there, even more so there, because we are outside of the thing called time and space. So instantly, when you leave your body, first and foremost, you're going to go where you are frequency specific. That is why the death experience is so different, and the near death experience is so different for everyone. When you take your last breath in this body, what's going to happen? So people understand what is to come. That compression valve breaks. What does that mean instantly? Instant expansion. Instant expansion. Now you see all of the things that you could not see before. What's happening in a in a hospice room is your frequency starts to rise right before you start to die. Your frequency it could take hours, days, even months. What's happening, Jannecke, is you're going back into your particles are breaking down, and you're going back into light. You're going back into the light. That is why, at a certain point, your decease, your deceased loved ones, teachers, guides, your pets, you will start to see. When someone starts to see, all it means is okay that their frequency is rising enough. That compression valve is starting to release in the brain, and they are able to perceive. Now, here's what's interesting: your loved one dies. You're distraught. That compression valve in your brain is so tight you can't see that they're standing right beside you. At the funeral, where everybody is falling out, the person is standing right there. If you have a little bit of a just a little bit of a leak, almost like imagine just getting a little bit of leak of air, you could perceive them. That is how some people do perceive. They can see deceased loved ones, right? That's that's been yeah, absolutely, and they can hear them. But again, it's. I believe with the with the out of body experiences for myself. I can't speak for anyone else. But again, as you said, it was in direct correlation to what I needed in this lifetime. I don't, and I've always said this. I don't know if if it is meant for every person to have these experiences in the body, because maybe someone's soul wants them to be very grounded in this reality and really learn the lessons that they are here to learn, and not fly off into the ethers. Although, of course, we all it is is there is there it is our birthright. It is as natural as our breath. Everyone has out of body. The spirit always departs when the body is sleeping. But whether you get conscious recall of that is where it's at. Right? You may be travelling, but you may not have conscious recall of it. So again, it's really understanding what your soul curriculum is, what your soul purpose is. The most important thing about. Out of body experience. I always use the word integration because you have to understand. For me to have all these experiences, all of a sudden it was quite overwhelming. And for a period of time, for a period of probably two years, my life was it was almost I almost couldn't function because how do you justify going into underworld underwater worlds and being a mathematical equation, and meeting masters, and meeting animals, and talking to trees, and then you got to get in your car and go to the store and buy bananas.

Like you have to be able to integrate both realities and not seem crazy. And this is where it gets really challenging because the average person is not having these experiences. It can, for many years. It felt very isolating. Who do you tell this to? Who do you tell this to? You know, go home at Thanksgiving. What's been going on? Well, I've been on the underwater world and I've been talking to the church. Who do you say this to? So it took many many years for me to organise it and to structure it in a way that it would serve me, and it would serve me to help others, and that's what is important to me now to organise it for for helping others.

Jannecke Øinæs 36:12

No, I can't imagine. I've had a couple of out of body experiences myself, but I don't feel like they went so deep as yours did, and I didn't feel that control over them either, and I've never had them again. And actually, it's interesting because I had them also in 2006. So that was wow,

Darnella Ford 36:31

wow.

Jannecke Øinæs 36:32

These masters that you met on the other side, could you talk to me about what kind of masters they are and what they taught you about our planet and Earth and what we're going through.

Darnella Ford 36:44

Well, I had a direct experience with Mother Earth. I had a direct experience with Mother Earth, and that was very recent. Actually, that was 2026 in December, so that was about eight months ago. In I was in the Amazon rainforest in Peru, and one night, late at night, Mother Earth literally came through the bottom of my feet, and when I say came to the bottom of my feet, my feet, my bare feet, were on the ground, and the consciousness of the earth began to bleed through the bottom of my feet, and began to express to me a message. And the message was: tell humanity. This is what Mother has said. So I guess I will share the message. I was asked to share the message. It is very important for humanity to return to the Earth. That we have gotten so far away from the Earth that we are experiencing the natural consequences of not living in harmony with the planet. It has been said that the best is the penthouse, but the penthouse is the is the highest distance from the earth. That is the thing that people will pay the most money for. The penthouse for the view, but the earth said your superior position is not there. It is to be on the ground. That we need the electrons from the earth. We must put bare feet to the earth to heal our bodies. The earth said that we were we we received this heavy reliance. The earth talked about pharmaceuticals, the chemical a consequence of that, which would be we would know that as side effects, side effects of medication. So the earth said when we are out of alignment with the planet, when we don't put our bare feet to the earth, that we suffer emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The earth talked about the mental health. There is a mental health collapse on the planet now. People struggling with all sorts of OCD, neuroses, bipolar disorder, just mental health in general, and I think mental health is everybody's concern. Everybody, it's one of the most impressing things just for us to tend to our mental health. And I always say too, mental health is also qualified by how much do you worry every day, how much do you live in fear. That is also mental health that affects if you're worrying all the time, constantly in fear, fear of losing your relationship, fear of losing your job, fear of losing your life, in constant threat under hyper vigilance of survival that affects your mental health. So the more sustained your mental health is, that central nervous system regulation, the more balanced and harmony that you feel. Not to say you won't have difficulties and challenges, because we are riddled with that in this dimension, so I wanted to just say that as well. I met masters who taught me one of the most beautiful experiences that I've ever had. One of them, I've had so many really beautiful ones, but this particular one, Yannika, I was out of my body and I was walking in a place that seemed it did not have an end, and I was walking on a path, but the path in this in the environment surrounding me, it seemed like it was endless and vast. But yet I was on a path, and then I looked up on this path, and I saw this man walking, and he was wearing a white, white like tunic shirt. And a tunic, some some some some white free flowing pants, and I noticed this man, and he had this guitar, and I and it's one of my favourite instruments as a guitar. But this guitar was different, and the sound that it made was unlike anything I'd ever heard. And I immediately heard it. I felt like I was put into a trance just hearing it, and he was playing it as he walked towards me, and I stopped in my tracks, and I remember the song that he was playing. Although I could never replicate it in the way that he did, but this is what he was saying to me. He was teaching me through song, and he said, "You are the universe. You are the universe,

Jannecke Øinæs 40:50

and that's gorgeous.

Darnella Ford 40:52

Thank you. Oh, I didn't do justice to what he did, but when he sang that last universe, Instantly, I disappeared from humanity. I disappeared from my personality self. I no longer existed in the context that I knew. When he sang that last frequency, I faded out almost on the heels of his universe, and I became the entire universe. I became the universe, and he was telling me, "You are the universe. And what I can tell you from that experience, it is ineffable. There are no words to describe it. But what I remember the most is that the love. the The moment I became the universe, I felt this vibration, vibration, vibration, vibration. It was rising and rising and rising and rising, and I felt all this love, this love, the love, and the love was so intense that I could not sustain. Like the love was so intense that it started vibrating my physical body, because I still had a physical body that was in my bed, and and immediately I knew within seconds I couldn't stay in this space. I wanted to stay in this space, but I do believe if I had stayed in that space, I could not have sustained that body because the frequency would have destroyed. It would have literally. It would have blown out the brain and the central nervous system. The frequency was just too high. It was just like running pure electricity. It was like taking a Ferrari engine and putting it into a bicycle, it just could not accommodate that level of vibration. But I never forgot it. It was one of the most beautiful, beautiful things that I have ever. Ooh, I just think about that one all the time because it was so beautiful, so beautiful.

Jannecke Øinæs 42:35

It seems like you have a very specific mission that came out of this, that blossomed out of this, where you're helping people on this side and on the other side. Could you share a bit about how that unfolded?

Darnella Ford 42:50

Yes, you know it's interesting because my my dream was always, you know, I'm a writer. I've always been a writer. It's how I identified myself, and and I was I was just really trying to be in Hollywood. That was my dream. I was gonna sit with Oprah, share my books. That was it. That was like the dream. Like I'm coming here to write, share my words, my work. But so what was really hard for me is when all this stuff started happening, all the dreams and things that I had at once, it it they they deflated overnight. Like everything that I thought my life was about. No longer was my life. Every form of self identity that I had. That's why I went to a really difficult period for a number of years. Because who was I now? I never saw myself as a teacher, as a guide, as a facilitator. I didn't feel like I had any gifts in any of that department. And then all of a sudden, I'm being invited to speak, and I was, as an author, you get invitations to speak all the time to promote your books, but I didn't want to talk about my books anymore, which is interesting. I wanted to talk about the cosmos and the universe, and and then I went and I studied formally quantum physics and neuroscience for three years up in Washington State, and I wanted to talk about the the things that I was learning and experiencing, and so I began teaching, and then people began coming, and then they began telling friends, and then more people would come. And so before I knew it, I was I was literally thrust into this world of teaching. Yeah, it was not what I never in a million years would I have ever said this ever in a million years. My entire life changed, my priorities changed, my goals changed in a lot of ways. To my friends who knew me, it looked it looked as if I had lost my zest, my my passion for success. I stopped pursuing. All I wanted to do was learn, and I really only the reason I the only reason I believe I was teaching was because I was learning so much, and I just wanted someone to share it with, and it brought me so much joy and so much so much passion, and creating a spiritual community and having like-minded people come together and leading healing retreats and working with people privately. From there, I was offered a government contract to go into all sorts of institutions and start working with people in dual. Diagnosis of addiction and mental health, and from there it just expanded. And interestingly, finding the balance when I go into corporate America to speak versus going into a nonprofit to speak versus going on Skid Row to speak to the homeless, and all or working with people privately, I was always trying to find a way to weave in the wisdom of my out-of-body experiences, but not losing people to the unbelievable, the incredible tales and how we process that. So that that's why I went and studied actually quantum physics and neuroscience. I want to be able to ground this into science, so that if someone is more open, I can speak to them from from that place. If they're much more scientific or sceptical, I can absolutely drop in and speak to them from just pure physics. So I want to be able to have the base to be able to communicate with all people, with all people, whether they were whether I was working with a celebrity or an athlete, whether I was working with someone who was homeless. I wanted to be able to connect to every man and woman, and in that, I think my work has been very rich because it has enabled me to meet every kind of human being. Every, I mean, just the the people that I've met, the beauty of the people, and the and the human experience is so vast.

Jannecke Øinæs 46:21

Yeah, I was just curious when your out-of-body work started, when you were actually helping people transition at the same time doing all this new work on Earth in this dimension.

Darnella Ford 46:33

Yes, I. That was very interesting. Around 2008, 2009, I was working. I had remember I had the government contracts. I was working with at risk youth. I was working with youth. I was also working with the. There's a. I don't know if you have the YMCA, but we have the YMCA here, big organisation YWCA. So I was working with a lot of young people and at risk youth in Compton and in the LA area, working with suicidal teens. So while I was in the while I was in the depth of working with the suicidal teens, something started happening in my out of body experiences that had never happened before. When I began doing the work here, I also started transitioning. I also started working with teenagers. Interestingly, only girls, 12 to 19, who had transitioned by way of suicide, and I would meet them immediately in the next level of experience that they were having, and that was unbelievable to me. And in that, there was a direct parallel of my work working with at-risk students here, and then working with students who had completed suicide here, right? It was an incredible bleed through and blending of both. What I always like to say, because I have had a direct experience with that myself with suicide, it is one of the most profound and levelling experiences of the human experience. There is no experience like that, and I can speak from that again, from very personal experience. When these young ladies transitioned, I met them in what would appear to be a long hallway. They would immediately leave their bodies, and they were immediately fully reformed, intact. They had energetic bodies, right? The physical body was deceased, but they had energetic body, and the girls were in a state of shock, and they were in a state of shock because they thought they were ending it all, and they were shocked to find there is no end; it's just a continuation, and they were confused. Well, wait, where am I at? How am I here? When someone was transitioning, and this is what I have observed. Okay, this is just Darnella's experience. I'm not saying this is the truth or the only truth. This is my experience. When when I observed them transition, they didn't have the traditional. They didn't have the traditional experience that other people did because of the state of mind that they were in. What does that mean? They needed care. They needed extra care. They needed extra love. So I want to offer this to people who have had loved ones transition this way. No, they are not lost in the abyss in a in a hellish punishment. No, they are given the utmost compassion for what they experienced in the human experience, and they are met. They have what is called first responders. We would consider them first responders. The trauma team of first responders who helps acclimate them, and there is actual healing. Oftentimes, they experience these tremendous healing chambers, where their soul energy is brought back into a cohesive pattern. For them, transition can be quiet. It's not; they're not overstimulated, and that's really important for to understand. If you have a let's say a traditional transition, or maybe even if you go on. Accident or through illness, you may be met with a huge, you know, celebratory. It may be a wow, welcome back because of the the the fractured state of the consciousness. They were eased back into gently and with love and with grace and with compassion, and I was a part of their welcome team. Now they didn't have a full team in that respect, and I asked, "Why am I? Why would I be doing this? I didn't understand why would I be? I'm sure there are more, way more qualified people in the non-physical. I was told that the reason I was their first point of contact was because they needed to meet someone who was still very grounded in the physical, who understood the physical experience from actual direct application of being in the frequency. Because once you're outside of this realm, your frequency starts to change very quickly, and you lose a little bit of, you know, it's so hard here. But when you're out of it, you're just woo.

It's like you're letting off the heavy, heavy, heavy, the heaviness of the human experience, right? So once you're out and you're and you're and you're and you're there, your vibration changes. So, so they wanted someone who could straddle both worlds because they were coming initially with their very dense vibration of their state of mind initially, so that's why I was given that. I guess it was a tremendous honour. It was overwhelming, though, for me to imagine that I'm doing this here and there.

Jannecke Øinæs 51:35

Fascinating. So I understand there's no judgement at all?

Darnella Ford 51:41

No judgement, none, none.

Jannecke Øinæs 51:43

Is this? Would you say that transitioning that way, choosing to take your own life, is that part of the pre-plan?

Darnella Ford 51:53

Okay, thank you so much for asking that because there's a lot of curiosity around that question. From what I was shown and what was shared with me, when a soul incarnates into Earth, it remember it's out of time, so it can look up on the life and see every major milestone and potential period of the where the trajectory of the life changes. It also knows if there will be a propensity towards that particular exit, based upon addiction, mental illness, et cetera, et cetera. Right? There are certain things and factors that will play into increasing the potential that someone will exit in this way. The soul is aware of it and is also prepared for it. The concept of free will comes in, which is very tricky. That's a very tricky, tricky thing. The stage is set that you will enter. Your free will is how are you going to engage the props on the stage. You get to decide how to engage it. But there are certain things that are going to be in place, right? So some people are naturally going to have the experience genetically of let's say bipolar disorder, or they will struggle with health. They will struggle with things from the gate, from very young ages, or they will be born into such high trauma environments that it will create a shift in their brain, enlarge their amygdala. They create hyper vigilance. It will create a host of challenges that may then culminate into a snowball effect of addiction, that may culminate into increased mental illness, that ultimately results in someone ending their life. Okay, that's already known. That's already known. It is already seen. Free will is obviously, and here's the thing: I was shown that the soul actually already pretty much knows if a person is going to exercise that option. It is known. Now you would say, "Well, then why would they come? Because the effect that that person will have on this planet is much greater than you think. When someone's friend or lover or parent or child transition by suicide, it changes the trajectory of your life. It is a catalyst. It is a very very difficult catalyst that could potentially increase. I'm trying to be very careful how I word this because from our human brain, none of this makes sense. I'm just going to tell you my example, if I could, with suicide to tell you how it impacted me. One of my very best and and dearest friends, who came and studied with me, he moved from my hometown to Phoenix, and he came, and he was he was a tremendous force and presence and protege. And I mentored him. We worked together. We travelled. He he facilitated retreats with me. We travelled around the world. He had struggled with a lot of trauma, sexual trauma as a child. Which led then to mental health challenges, which led to addiction. He battled and struggled those things down to the ground. Even while we were working together, he had periods periods where he rose above it, and also periods where he collapsed back into it. Ultimately, on november 4, 2021, he could no longer sustain Earth life. He ended his life in his bathroom on on Thursday, november 4, 2021. I was called by his roommate to come because it was suspicious that he was not coming out of the bedroom. He'd been in there all day. When I arrived on the scene, there was five or six suburbans. There was police officers, but they were detectives wearing suits, and I was notified immediately that he was dead, and I remember that moment just falling to the ground. From that moment, that night, everything that happened, my experience of that, waiting for the coroner, being there when the coroner pulled him out of the bathroom and bagged him in a black bag, as he is being rolled down the driveway, his mother, who I had not been able to reach, called me in that moment. As he's rolling, his dead body is rolling past me. His mother, I have to tell this woman her only son is gone. The next eight hours of my life, pure hell. Having to call everyone in my community and tell them what happened. He was beloved. He was beloved by everyone, and hearing people scream, and the screams just echoed from one phone call to the other.

After this happened, you think this man, this beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, to this day, despite his challenges, he's one of the most beautiful human beings I've ever met. He's one of the most brightest souls. I have come now to understand he did not fail. He did come back to me. He told me, and I'm telling you when I say I struggled. I struggled because he trusted me. I felt like I should have been able to save him. This was a great lesson for Darnella the healer. This was a great lesson, right? You, you, we can't be that arrogant. You don't save anybody. They save themselves, and people are going to comment because there is an orb going back and forth. There is a spirit here, so yes, when people are going to put in the comments. We're seeing this go back and forth. There is a spirit here right behind me. So just yes, so people know that there is. I've been I've been aware of that for many minutes on the playback.

Jannecke Øinæs 57:52

Thought it was car light or something like that.

Darnella Ford 57:54

No, there's no reflection behind me. There's no yeah. That that opens up into nothing. Yeah, there's no there's no driveway behind there. So yeah, so often on the videos actually there there's orbs and spirits because they help me and they come, and it could very well be my friend that I'm talking about. And I when I talk about him, he he comes too. So it humbled me in a lot of ways. It was a catalyst for my own growth and development. It challenged me. His mother and his sister accused me of not supporting him properly, and I had to deal with not only my own guilt but the accusation of being a horrible human being who let him down. It almost broke me. It pushed me to the very edge of me having to decide: Do I still want to do this work? And I wanted to vacate the premises. I wanted to leave. I wanted to not work with anyone anymore. It really brought me to my knees. So I had to reach within myself To expand and find my strength to rise up to say yes, I'm still going to do this work. I'm still going to show up. I'm still going to attempt to stand in this arena despite what has happened. Right in that, it grew me, and also too, I went back to my roots as a writer, and I did write a book that is called The Next Breath, where I detail this experience, and I pulled from every system of ancient wisdom and my out-of-body experiences, and put all this together really to help myself, but also to help others who are grieving. So it's the next breath, life after loss. It is. It was my gift to myself, but it was also my gift to the to the people who were suffering. Yeah,

Jannecke Øinæs 59:50

I'm sorry I had to go through that, but I know it's part of your plan as well. And what I'm curious about is. Did you have the chance to meet him to connect with him on the other side, or did you have the chance to actually walk with him into the afterlife?

Darnella Ford 1:00:09

Well, I didn't. What was interesting when I got the phone call? The call came at 430 in the afternoon. It was on a Thursday, and I got the phone call immediately at the point of contact. His energy filled up my room, and I felt him big. He was massive, and he was in here. And they said something's up. I already knew before I left my house. I cried all the way there because I already knew it had not been confirmed because the police were on their way as well that night. What was interesting Was I? I thought I'm never going to be able to sleep, and then I slept very peacefully. But I also understood then he was in my room. He provided and he provided a blanket of. It was an interesting way that if you are if you are very sensitive, when your loved ones pass, you can ask them to prop like to give you. They can hold you up. It's a very strange thing, but I've experienced. I have many friends who transition, and they will come back and they will give their energy to give you a lift, and it will keep you from absolute collapse. You can ask, and then if you're still, they will prop you up. He did that, and he came. I slept like a baby, not just because I'd been crying all night, but because he was in my room helping me. The next day, of course, you know, the next 72 hours just felt like absolute hell. And I did a memorial for him three days later because we had a ceremony that he and I were going to do together. But we traded the ceremony for honouring his life. He came to me when I was actually of all things in the bathtub. Water, by the way, is very important. Mother Earth told me if you want to remember your soul's mission, put your feet in the water. Put your feet in the water. The water carries the memory of your soul. That's why when you sit in the bathtub or you take a shower, you have insights and aha moments and bursts of insights. But if you go into nature, you sit on the ground, put your feet into the water, into the river, you will activate the memory of your soul. So that was from Mother Earth. That was her bit of wisdom I'm sharing with you. And so he came back to me. I was in the bathtub, and he said he he was he was always saying he always said to me you have this gift you have a gift. He wanted me to lean more into my non physical gifts. He wanted me to lean more into my connection with my ability to hear and translate from the other side of the veil. I was always reluctant to do that because I never wanted to call myself a psychic or me growing up, you know, I would make fun of people like me. So I had a, I had a very like me and my friends and me, oh Clio the psychic, when the Cleo the psychic friends network, we always used to joke about stuff like that. So I never wanted to be identified with any of that, and he always said, "You, you can hear. You have sight. You have vision. He always tried to push me. So when I was in my bathtub, I hear his voice, and he says, "I always told you you could hear this. And I said, "I said okay. I said if it is you, then you give me evidence of something I don't know about you. If this I'm really hearing you and you're convinced this is you, tell me. And he told me two things: he had a dog, a childhood childhood dog and a childhood cat, and he told me their names or told me the cat. He said the cat was very a black cat, very skinny, and the dog's name was Jovi J O V I. Not a common name, right? I said okay. I called his father and I confirmed it the next day. Absolute fact. That let me know it was a point of contact for Matt. He used to help me scout for retreat locations, and he said, "I am in the ultimate retreat location.

He said, "Darnella, I promised you I would not do this, but because he he always at times say I don't want to be here, then he say no I'm not going to ever do that I would never do that, but he said I had a broken brain. He said my brain was actually broken and it was driving me mad, so he said it wasn't me, and he said, "Whether whether now or in two years from now, you would have had to deal with my transition. And I said, "What do you mean? He said he had heart damage from the drugs he had used in his earlier life. He said he was going to have a massive heart attack in two years. He said that would have been a natural exit point for him, and he said, "So I left two years earlier than I would have left, but you would have been here anyways. And interesting, the last couple times I saw him, he was complaining about chest pains. Interestingly, in the moment, that was of no comfort because I was truly, truly, truly grieving. But I did feel a sense of peace that I know once that compression valve. Released and he got an understanding. You know, he was a tremendous student of shamanic shamanic studies, and we worked in in in depth together. So I just feel and know that he went on to continue his learning. He is he is fairly certain he will obviously have to return and complete what he did not complete. He is aware of that. Is what he has shared with me. He is willing to do that, and he he understands that that is part of his path. He said though he would wait until every single person that he affected by the transition had already crossed the veil. So he told me he would not come back until he said until his whole family had come back, and he said he would wait for me, and he said he would not return until then.

Jannecke Øinæs 1:05:48

Thank you for sharing that story. I think that could be healing for so many people, for you to show your human side. You know, even though you have these gifts, because sometimes we can perhaps think that oh, you have these gifts. So, and you see, so you know why do you feel so sad? Because they went over to the other side, and you can see that. But we still are humans, and we still feel the emotions are and are supposed to go through the healing process. Because I believe, and I think you do as well. There's a purpose with everything. There's a purpose for being human. Actually, actually going through all these emotions-we're meant to be doing that-and it's just so beautiful to hear that there is no coincidences, there is no accidents, and that's what I believe that there's order in chaos, and

Darnella Ford 1:06:36

they're absolutely

Jannecke Øinæs 1:06:37

always taken care of, and no judgement as well.

Darnella Ford 1:06:41

If I could offer one more thing that I feel like I'm just trying to offer things that I feel like could really help where people are suffering. Different people reach out to me and the things that they're going through. I want people to understand something very important. Death is an orchestrated event. Even in a potential suicide, they still have to be granted permission to exit. Case in point, my daughter's father had a friend who struggled with depression. One day, he took a gun, put it to his head, pulled the trigger. Normally, that would be it, but all he did was blow out his optic nerve, and he was blind. He did not transition. He was not allowed to transition. Okay, so I want you to know that there can be divine and massive soul intervention. If the soul is not ready, if the soul is not ready to exit, and it does not want to exit, you will not exit. If the soul is ready to exit, and it has completed its primary curriculum, we have different levels of curriculum, but its primary curriculum, if it feels that it has been satisfied in this lifetime, and that the bulk of its soul contracts, because that also affects our transition date, how we have fulfilled these contracts, then the soul will. If the soul is nothing, can stop it. There's no doctor. There's no medicine that can stop a soul that's ready to go. Ultimately, the decision does not lie in the hands of the human. This is what I want everybody to hear. It does not land ultimately in the hands of the human. It does not mean that you cannot do things proactive to help yourself, to benefit your health, etc. etc. But the final word will always be from the soul self, and it is a meticulous, mathematical, or orchestration of the time that you will leave on this planet. It is always you are always prepared. There is always preparation given to you to receive you on the other side of the veil. No one dies alone, even if they die alone in the physical, they are always met. They are always going through a form of orientation. They are always reorientated back into the higher frequency. The moment you transition, the compression valve is relieved. The nervous system is relieved of its heavy burdening of programming. You immediately are expanded into a state of peace, but you have to understand first: we pass through the astral buffer zone. In that zone, your subconscious beliefs will play out, and you will meet your fears. That's why some people have what we consider hellish experiences. They're meeting their fears and their own thought forms projected back to them, so we go through that astral buffer zone, and then we go into the higher realms, and we are going where our frequency is aligned. So when you transition, where do you go? There's no one size fits all. You go where your frequency and your vibration is the most aligned, and there you continue your path. Generally, you do a review of the life. You study the life. You understand the life. You get the. You see how everything was connected, and you really learn to understand the two illusions that that drop at death is death, right? The great illusion of death drops at death, and. Greatest illusion on the earth plane, which is separation, that drops too. That's why in a life review you experience it not just from what you did, from the perspective of the person seemingly that had the action done to them, because there is no more separation. So you are everything, and you are everyone. In the end of all things, everything always balances out. You cannot harm another without harming yourself. So in the end, everything is balanced.

I said it was going to be a lot of cosmic wisdom. Thank you so much, Darnella. This has been really, really interesting and healing. I got to say, and beautiful and profound. I have a few questions to ask everyone. What is self-love to you?

Darnella Ford 1:10:50

I'm going to tell you a very quick story. When I was 12 years old, I was on the basketball team because I wanted to play, and we were terrible team. Although I love to play, terrible. We lost every single game. Second to the last game, we went to play. Played the very best team in the district. We were the worst team in the district. As we were playing, I looked up and I saw the scoreboard. 10 seconds before the game was ending, 53 to 52 to zero, 52 points. We had zero. I looked. I saw the girls laughing at us. I looked to the right. I saw our team looking defeated. In that moment, I said, "Absolutely not. We will not leave this game as losers. Somehow, I got the ball. I was at half court, Yannika. Half court, half court, which is far from the basket. In that moment, I dribbled that ball. 123, dribbles. I lift it up, and I knew in my mind at 12 I could make it go in the basket. How did I know that? No one told me, but I knew that if I set my intention at 12 years old, and I did, I focused on that ball and I willed it. I willed it in at half court. By the way, never done that ever again in life. It went in the basket clean. So, self love is looking at life. Life got 52 points and you have zero, and you rise up to take your shot. That is self love. Self love is not standing in the defeat. There are so many times in life we feel victim to this life because this is such a dense and heavy material experience. Self love is my ability to look and see that life may have 52, and I may be getting my butt kicked, but I love myself enough to rise up and take that one good shot for myself. That is self love.

That was powerful. In one sentence, what is the deeper meaning of life?

Darnella Ford 1:13:13

Expression, experience, transcendence, transmutation of energy. It

has been such a joy having you. And if people want to learn more or connect with you, how can they do so?

Darnella Ford 1:13:32

Thank you so much. They can visit me at my website, journeytoworthy.org, and they can email me from there. I would be honoured to meet and connect with anyone, and may I give you that? And you could just put it in the show notes that people can go if they're interested in reaching out. Yeah, perfect.

Jannecke Øinæs 1:13:50

Yeah, thank you so so much, Darnella, for your powerful work and for coming to the show.

Darnella Ford 1:13:54

Thank you. Oh, this has been a joy. I have been looking forward to this. Thank you so much for having me, and I want to bless you too. I want to bless you and honour you for the work that you're doing. You are creating a kaleidoscope and a cascade of light onto this planet, and I would like to simply leave you and your guests with a frequency. So may I offer you the frequency of a song that was sang to me from the heavens? I'd like if you are open to me, just closing it out with just couple a couple lines of that song. So this is for you, and this is for every beautiful soul that passed this way today. Thank you for your time. I do not take it for granted. The heavens sang to me once upon a time to hold in my body its frequency. You're Amazing, wonderful! You're beautiful. You're brilliance. You're amazing, wonderful, beautiful, brilliance. You are amazing, wonderful. Your beautiful, brilliant life.

Jannecke Øinæs 1:15:12

Beautiful. Thank you.

Darnella Ford 1:15:14

Thank you. Thank you.
