Do you want to be a Co-Creator by translating and putting subtitles on videos created by WFN?
If so I am immensely grateful for your help!
Making subtitles in more languages will not only help the videos reach out to people with other languages than English and Norwegian, the hearing impaired will also be able to benefit from the videos.
There are several ways of doing this
1. YouTube (the easiest way)
You will need a gmail account for this. Then you will need to follow the instructions below in the video.
Another way of doing it, is to contact me through the contact form below and let me know who you are, which video you want to translate and to what language. If you have a web site, please include it. I will then let you know if others are already translating it into your preferred language, or if you are free to go. I will also connect you with my coordinator Camilla Ysland who can help you along the way if you experience any technical difficulties.
So let’s get started!
We use the program Amara for translation.
Below in the video there are instructions on how you can translate.
In short: You will need to create an account on www.amara.org and use this program which is explained in the video below. Newt step is to transcribe the video, synchronize it and then send me the document file called SRT when it is completed.
Watch this tutorial in English on using Amara:

Thank you so much for being part of sharing these messages to the world!!
