The Indigenous peoples in the Amazons need our help”
Anders Krogh had one dream: To live and stay with an indigenous and isolated group in The Amazon Rainforest. In 1999 he bought a one way ticket and left Norway to find Paradise and it changed him forever. Hear about his amazing story and become part of the solution by either raising awareness on the importance of saving the Rainforest or support the Rainforest foundation directly here: Support here
Rainforest Foundation Norway (RFN) is one of the world’s leading organisations in the field of rights-based rainforest protection. They are working for a world where the environment is protected and human rights are fulfilled. Their specific focus is the intersection – in the rainforest – of these two worldwide struggles.
Their mission: To support indigenous peoples and traditional populations of the world’s rainforests in their efforts to protect their environment and fulfill their rights by assisting them in:
- Securing and controlling the natural resources necessary for their long-term well-being and managing these resources in ways which do not harm their environment, violate their culture or compromise their future; and
- Developing the means to protect their individual and collective rights and to obtain, shape, and control basic services from the state.
